Our mind is occupied by the thoughts about us and the people around us. We believe that criticism will solve the problem. Problem isn't what it seems to be, the problem is our outlook for the problem and the very thought that it is a problem! Everyone is born with certain persona, abilities and features if we choose to stick upon a particular feature that bugs us then in no time will we start disliking every living being in this world just for that one feature that we think isn't the perfect piece in the jigsaw of our life.

What matters the most is how someone in your life makes efforts just for you. Appreciation of the efforts is all that forms the base of a strong and beautiful relationship. Things as simple as a stranger helping you by stopping the lift, form a relation. Relations are like threads, more the attention, time and efforts you put into it, more and more threads come together, making your relation stronger. Your relation with the person holding the lift's door for you was made from the very instant he made a tiny effort and you both were connected by an invisible thread. Now next time you both see each other; this thread will ring a bell in your mind and you will unknowingly portray a welcoming aura for the person. No matter how that person is in life outside your field of vision, but to you he is a good person. The point of the analogy is, your relation with your loved one is made up of numerous such strong threads. Don't let a single thought make you cut loose even one of those threads. Life is beautiful because of the people you love and have in it, cutting those threads is making your life lose its essence. The journey from a single thread to a string is challenging, respect those ups and downs you have faced together. There is no feeling better than loving and being loved. I always say and believe that everyone is in your life to lead you to something that will make your life even better than your wildest dreams.

When you see a new person, the first impression you make is by the way they look, then by the way they talk, then by the way they behave. I have come to this realization the first impression is always misleading. No one can be judged by the way they look. A person not looking 'good' as per our expectations might turn out to be the most humble and loving person you have ever met. God wasn't bias while creating anybody. If you have been given something good, you are also given something bad. So, respecting what is good and not letting the bad make a difference in your outlook for any being, is what will give you a special place in everyone's heart.

Think about your mother. No matter what you did, how you looked, what everyone thought about you, her love for you hasn't depleted in its magnitude ever! She loved you without expecting returns in any form. If you can love some one with such selflessness, only then you deserve to be in their life. I feel that the day a person looks at another person beyond their physical features is the day when we should celebrate independence. Independence from judging someone, from being judged, from expectations and celebrate the freedom to be yourself.
