**1 year later**

"Ella, Amber, one of you! Come in here!" I yelled, standing in front of the tv.

"IF IT'S ONE DIRECTION AGAIN I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" Amber stomped in. She stopped in her tracks once she saw what it was.

"Anna Roberts, teenage vine star. Dead? Or not? We'll give you the facts later in the show." The reporter said on the screen.

"THEY NEED TO GET OFF OF MY CASE!" I yelled, slamming down face first on my bed. Amber sat next to me and put her hand on my back.

"They may think they found something, but they'll never know it's you. They've had false leads all of the time!" She said, trying to cheer me up.

Yeah, I'm Anna Roberts. A year ago, I faked my own death. I bribed the doctor to tell them that I was dead. In reality, by then I was miles away in New York.

No one knew, except for my mom, Amber, Ella, and Ryan. Amber was a girl that Ella and I had met when we came to LA, and she soon became close friends with us.

I know what you're also thinking. Why'd we come to LA when the guys were there? Soon after my "death" they had all left to go home, and since then I haven't had the slightest idea of where they were.

Since then, my personality hasn't changed a bit, but I can't say the same for my appearance. I died my hair pink only hours after arriving in LA.

Soon after that I ditched my contacts for glasses, and wore plain brown contacts underneath them, only to change my eye color.

My style had also changed from hipster to a more punk style, but definitely not all black and mean. Just anything to make me less recognizable.

I also changed my name. I was now known as Lacey Bright, as a result of a name generator online. Genius idea, I know, but when it came to names I had the creativity of a fly.

As for social media, I hadn't stayed off of it. But this time around, instead of millions of followers, I had mere hundreds, and I was fine with that.

I just hoped they didn't find me.
