"Can we talk?" Nash asked, walking back into the room. Cameron and I were still sitting in the kitchen and talking, the rest of the guys still asleep.

"Sure." I said, shocked that he was talking to me. He quickly walked over to me and grabbed my arm, pulling me out of the apartment. Cameron was staring at us with a confused look, even though he didn't try and help me.

I tried to pull my arm away from him but he was a lot stronger than me. Part of me was scared, looking back at the time that Nash had tried to hit me.

But I knew he wouldn't do anything. At least, I was pretty sure.

"Where are we going?" I asked, but he didn't answer. He kept pulling me until we got to his car.

"Get in." He told me.

"What the hell, Nash. Why?" I asked.

"Just trust me." He said, looking at me with not an angry look, but with sad, pleading eyes. I got into the car and he immediately started driving.

Why couldn't we have just talked back at home? My thoughts were all a mess, trying to figure out what he was trying to do.

"I wanted to go somewhere completely secluded, so that the guys are anyone else wouldn't barge into our conversations, or strangers overhear." Nash told me, practically reading my thoughts. Wow, big words, this must be getting serious.

"Oh." Was all I could think to say. The rest of the drive was in silence, until he finally stopped by a lake. We got out of the car and he walked over to the edge of the lake and sat down.

"You definitely didn't bring me here to like, kill me or something, right?" I asked.

"No! No!" He exclaimed, shocked that I would even think such a thing.

"I just wanted to talk..." He said, quoted this time. I walked over and sat down next to him, and he immediately put his arm around me. Instead of moving away, I leaned closer into him.

"Okay, then let's talk." I said, and he slightly smiled.

"You actually want to talk to me? After I tried to hit you? And was a complete jerk to you?" He asked.

"You already brought me here, what else can I do?" I asked, and he looked at me with a hurt face.

"I'm kidding, Nash. I really do want to talk, I've missed you." I said, and he looked away from me, staring blankly forward.

"I've missed you too. But let me get one thing straight with you," he said, turning to look me straight in the eyes. "I am not going to try to win you back. I am not going to try and make you love me again. Because I know that it'll be a waste of my time. If you truly still felt the same way about me as you did before, you wouldn't be with Matt. And you sure as hell would've made it clear by now that you did. You're not good at hiding feelings."

"And there's even less of a point in being mad at you. You don't control how you feel for people. You just don't. I learned that the hard way. I've been going insane, trying to put up a wall between us. I can't be without you. Not even for seconds. I need you in my life. But if the only thing we'll ever be is friends, I guess that'll be what we are. Friends. Nothing more. Nothing less. And if one day you want to be with me again, I'll be here. But in the meantime, there's no point in me only trying to get with you. Of course there'll be times were I get angry, but I expect you to put me back in line, okay?" He laughed.

"Alright, will do." I laughed (a/n yeah I know, good tfios moment to put in there but those are overused.)

"Friends?" He asked, holding his hand out. What did he think this was?

"Friends." I said, ignoring his hand and just hugging him. He hugged me back and we stood like that for what seemed like hours. I finally had him back.

And it felt like nothing could ever go wrong again.

Like the universe had finally figured everything out for me.

And from now on, maybe, just maybe, my life would be calm.

Wow I haven't updated in ages I'm sorry guys :( it's just school work and I've been so tired :(
