A/N: I lied.
Joseph Shepard
Joseph looked at Tia in shock. "Why would you do that?" he demanded.
"I'm sorry!" she shouted. "I thought they wouldn't take him!"
"That's a lie," Grace growled. "You knew. The government's been announcing that they take the demigods no matter what."
"I really did!"
"Stop lying!" Joseph shouted. "You were the one who defended demigods yesterday."
"My dad's a government worker!" she said.
"Just stop," Grace pleaded, dragging Joseph away.
"I can't believe her," he muttered as they made their way down the halls.
"Me either," she agreed.
"Percy trusted us with his secret. Now we might never see him again."
"I know," Grace insisted. "We'll see Percy again. One day."
Joseph didn't believe her for a second.

Percy came running into school about a month later.
"Percy!" Joseph demanded.
"The Mist has been recovered. No mortals will remember demigods," Percy said breathlessly.
"What?" Grace asked.
"Hecate, the goddess who controls the Mist, was thought to have faded. She didn't! She's gaining control over the Mist right now," he explained.
"So we won't remember you're the son of Poseidon?" Joseph asked.
"No," Percy said.
"You're a demigod," Grace said. "We'll forget you saved the world."
"There's a reason why mortals aren't given the information that the Greek and Roman gods exist. You're not ready."
Before Grace or Joseph could say anything, they blanked out. They forgot. The Mist had done its job.

Abrupt ending... yeah. Super short chapter... yeah. Terrible... yeah.
I'm working on a (hopefully) better chapter. I actually had an idea. So no mortals remember demigods anymore (except for the few who had originally knew before the Mist disappeared).
Like it? Love it? Hate it? Tell me!
