Adrien's POV

I walked down the corridor with the fifth graders. I was sad, depressed, miserable, but I have to go to school. Father needs me to keep perfect attendance and be a smart student. If my grades went down or I lost my perfect record, I would be sucked right back into homeschool. I wish, though, that he would give me today of all days off. He took the day off, gave Nathalie the day off, I even had to walk to school because 'Gorilla' got the day off. But no, I have to go. My mum just died for God's sake! And I'm forced to-

"Ow!" A high pitch voice squeaked.

I looked down to see a blue haired girl sprawled out on the floor. I recognized her. She was Marinette, the girl in my math class. Second in the class, under me. Pretty, average in the popularity ranks, smart, and great friend group. All together, a decent girl. I don't know her well enough to judge though.

"Oh," I was not in the mood for this, "Sorry, I guess."

I began to walk away, but stopped dead in my tracks. "Who the hell taught you manners? Your mum?"

"What?" I whispered, facing away from her still.

"I asked—" she began but I interrupted.

"DON'T SPEAK ABOUT HER!" I was pissed.

How dare this girl talk about my mother. I needed to cool off, so I began to walk away again.

"Jesus, no wonder she left."

SMACK

My soft hand smacked her porcelain cheek. The world stopped.

"How dare you even think of talking about her in a bad way."

"How dare I? You are just like all of the other rich kids! The world has to revolve around you, doesn't it? Anything bad happens, you blame somebody else! My Maserati broke down, so I'll sue the company saying they gave me a defective car. My hotel room isn't cleaned, so I'll leave a ripped up 100 bill as a tip for the maid. My mum just died, so I'm going to slap the next girl I see."

She sobbed.

"You-you bitch!" I kicked her in the stomach. "HOW COULD YOU?"

I kicked her countless times. By the time I was done, she was wheezing on the floor. She was sobbing now and I knew that she was in a great deal of pain.

"That's what you get. Tell anybody, and I'll make sure your family goes out of business next week."

I began to walk off, feeling a little better. No, that was an understatement. I felt fifty times better.

"Hey, bitch. From now on, you are my stress toy. Whenever I'm stressed, I'll come find you to take my anger and frustration out."

And I had no idea how often I'd be using her.
