Adrien's POV (Again, I know)

When we made it back on land, Marinette sighed in relief. We wouldn't be relieved for long though. Or, at least I wouldn't be relieved for long. The first thing that I saw when I got off the plane was the last person I expected. He stood there by the car with a smug look on his face. Just him standing there made me want to hit him. Marinette, on the other hand, was super happy to see him.

"Luka," she yelled out as she ran down the steps from the plane.

She actually didn't make it all the way down before she tripped right into Luka's arms. I had to hold down a growl as he spun her in a hug. She giggled like a love sick puppy. After him holding her for way too long, he put her down. I cleared my throat to catch their attention, and Marinette blushed as she realized the PDA.

"Oh, hey," Luka greeted as he walked over to me.

He grabbed my hand, and pulled me into your average bro hug. I had to hold down bile as this despicable person hugged me. I had to refrain from putting him in a choke hold.

"Hey," I returned the greeting, and tried to keep a calm tone. "What are you doing in London?"

He turned to Mari before looking back and replying, "Marinette texted me to tell me she was coming to London. I happened to plan to come and stay at my grandmothers. So, I surprised both of you."

Bullshit. He definitely stalked her, and found out she and I were going to be traveling. He's honestly so creepy and desperate it's funny.

"This is going to be so much fun," Marinette cheered, unaware of how much I hated this man whore. "We're going to have the best time."

The last thing she said hit me. She was here to have the best time. She was here to get away from her abusive parents and school life. Luka was a positive person in her life. As long as he doesn't make a pass at her, I can try to keep my cool. But the second he does make a move, I'll step in to protect Marinette.

"What do you say we go out to dinner tonight?" Luka asked Marinette.

Before she could answer him, I sling my arm around her and said, "We'd love to go to dinner."

Luka glared at me as Marinette stared at me. Her blue eyes poured into my green ones. Then her head turned to look at her shoulder with my arm draped on it. She grew a little pink in the cheeks. Luka smiled brightly as Marinette's eyes looked to his.

"Dinner sounds great, but before then, I need a nap," Marinette told him.

"Okay, Marinette," Luka laughed too much. "I'll see you—"

I interrupted him by pulling Marinette into the car. I know I was trying to be nice to him, but his voice was enough to make my blood boil. Luka waved goodbye to us as the car rolled off of the tarmac, and onto the main road. We drove for a good twenty minutes in silence. I finally decided on the perfect topic of conversation—what we wanted to do the entire time we were here in London—with Marinette, so I turned to her. Unfortunately for me, she was sound asleep. Her elbow was parallel to the window with her chin rested on her opened palm. I smiled at the sleeping beauty. I was going to let her rest. She would need her rest for tonight's dinner.

Le Time Skip

Marinette took a long nap before waking up for dinner with Luka. She spent about an hour getting ready for the dinner, and that was an hour too much put into looking good for Luka. She walked out of one of the bathrooms in the most stunning blue sequence dress. It was short—above her knees—with spaghetti straps. She looked too good. She shouldn't be getting dressed up like that for a guy like Luka.

"Ready to go?" She asked me as she slipped on some heels that matched her hair.

"Born ready," I replied with a smirk.

We walked out the front door, and to the car awaiting us. We then drove to the restaurant Luka wanted to go to in peaceful silence. Unbeknownst to Marinette, I was giving myself a pep talk. I can't be too much of a douchebag to Luka or Marinette will get suspicious. I just needed to survive tonight, and then I wouldn't have to interact with Luka anymore. Unless Marinette wanted to hang out with him more. That would be so terrible for me. I couldn't spend another day with that rotten, good for nothing, asshole of a—

"Are you coming or not?" Marinette asked from outside of the car.

I peeled myself from the car, and held back a growl as I saw Luka standing in front of the restaurant. We all greeted each other—Luka greeting Marinette a little too flirtatiously—then ate. Honestly the night went in a blur. I only really paid attention when Marinette was talking. Luka was actually taking up a majority of the conversation, and I couldn't care any less.

"I have to use the restroom," Marinette told us after dessert. "I'll be right back."

She scooted her chair out, and made her way to the restaurant's bathroom. That's when Luka turned to me.

"Doesn't she look smoking tonight?"

I nodded to avoid cursing him out.

"She would look even better with that little dress off though."

Just ignore him, I told myself over and over.

"I can only imagine the things I would do to her."

He's just a horny asshole, I repeated.

"She's so inexperienced that it's funny."

He needs to stop talking before I kick his ass.

"Taking her virginity would be too easy."

He laughed, and I stopped myself from pouncing on him.

"I think I'm going to take it in London."

My fists balled as I looked at the guy in front of me.

"Maybe I'll take her back to my place tonight and bang the living—"

I couldn't stop myself as my fist collided with his jaw. He was almost thrown out of his chair I hit him so hard.

"Oh my god," a feminine voice cried out. "Luka, are you alright?"

It was obviously Marinette. She rushed to Luka's aid as he clutched his jaw. She asked him many questions in a panic.

"I'm fine, Marinette," he assured.

I started to say, "Marinette, let's get out of he—"

She stopped me and said, "Luka and I are going to stay here a little longer, but I think. . .you should leave."

She sounded tentative, and I knew that she didn't want to be mad at me. I was boiling with anger though. I didn't want to risk saying or doing anything worse in my rage, so I just nodded. I walked away from Mari, Luka, and the restaurant in hopes of calming my anger of what Luka said. It was to no avail.
