Adrien's POV
I followed Marientte home, just to make sure she was in pain. She was limping and sobbing as she went home. I smiled at my good work. The whole thing with my father and that whore was forgotten. For now, at least. When I go home, I'll have a t-
"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" A male voice sounded from in front of me.
Out of instinct, I hid near the entrance of an alley.
"Y-y-yes. I-I'm alright," a timid girl replied.
Marinette.
"Then why are you limping?" The guy persisted.
"I...um...I-I can't lie," she sobbed.
I peeked out of the alley to see that the man, a boy around my age with black and blue hair, was hugging Marinette. The fuck!
"Here, why don't I walk you home, so you can tell me what happened. By the way, I'm Luka," he offered.
Luka? Luka! I know Luka. He's a guitarist at our school. He's pretty popular and the girls all love him. Not as much as they like me, though. What the hell does he want with Mari?
"I-I'm M-M-Marinette. Sorry to t-trouble you," she pulled away from him and he smiled at her.
Smiled?
"I know you. We have science together," he said.
He began walking; Marinette followed behind closely.
"What happened?" Luka asked.
If that girl spills, she'll get it tomorrow!
"I fell down a flight of stairs after school," she replied quickly.
Smart dumbass.
"You are terrible at lying," Luka retorted.
I followed closely behind as they approached Marinette's house.
"I—" she began.
"It's alright. If you aren't comfortable, you don't have to tell me."
"T-thank you. Truly, you are one of the only people who have been nice to me recently," she was blushing and smiling.
How dare this dude be nice to her.
"It's no problem, but next time he beats you up, I'll find him and beat him up for you," Luka stated as he walked over toward me.
"How did you..?" Marinette asked, confusion written all over her face.
"I can just tell," Luka didn't stop walking away from Marinette, so I hid in the alley next to her house. "Well, goodbye!"
"Thank you, goodbye."
With that she limped into her house.
He made his way towards the alley, and when he passed by, I reached out and grabbed him by the shirt collar.
"What the hell are you trying to accomplish?" I yelled.
This dude was starting to piss me off! He thinks he can be Marinette's knight in shining armor and save her from a dragon? They won't live happily ever after if I have anything to say about it!
"What the fuck do you mean?" He yelled back.
His tone changed from when he was talking to Marinette. His voice was rigid, rough, tough-sounding. Nothing like the sweet, calming tone he used with Marinette.
"What do you think your doing saying, 'I'll find him and beat him up,'?" I asked, ignoring what he asked.
"It's called false hope, dumbass. Now put me down, dammit," he ordered.
Something about his sharp tone made me put him down.
"The fuck do you mean, 'False hope,'?" I crossed my arms in front of my chest.
"I mean, she thinks I help her and am this great guy. But when she least suspects it, I hit her where it hurts. Anyways, she's pretty innocent. Taking her virginity will be like taking candy from a baby," he explained with a smirk on his face.
"Oh..." I didn't really know how to reply.
I had a weird and bad feeling forming in my stomach. It was weird for this dude to talk to me about getting into Marinette's pants.
"So that's my plan. Now if you excuse me, plans don't execute themselves," he excused himself.
With that he left me in the alley to think.
What the hell is this feeling? Achievement? Triumph? Victory? Success? Winning? No, it didn't feel like any of those. It felt more like guilt, shame, or regret.
It was almost like, somebody hurting Marinette was a bad thing. I hurt her everyday so...why do I feel these feeling?
I know it's short. I really wanted to end it there, so yeah!
