I ran to the Cullens house to see that Carlisle and Edward were coming towards me.

"Is she okay, Doc?" I asked Carlisle.

He checked her pulse, waited a few seconds, then listened to her heart.

"She will be. Slight suffocation from her seat belt, her heart rate's a little too slow, some cracked rips that'll easily heal, and she swallowed a lot of water. But, with some rest, she'll be fine." he said.

I nodded. Bella and Blondie appeared at my side.

"We'll take her and take care of her." Bella said, motioning at Elena.

I looked at Elena's face, softly kissed her forehead, and carefully gave her to Bella.

They disappeared into the house with her.

"Come, Jacob. You can shower and have some of my clothes while you wait for Elena." Edward said.

I nodded and went in. We went up two staircases, down a hall, and through the third room on the left side.

This was Edward's old room, that much was obvious. At the other side of the room, there was another door that opened up to his bathroom.

Edward left for three seconds and came back with clothes and stuff.

"Thanks, Edward." I said.

"No problem, Jake. So, you finally found the one." Edward said, smiling.

I smiled a bit, too.

"Yeah; it's funny, but I found her a long time ago."

"How so?"

"I saved her from being made into a human Popsicle almost a few months ago, heard her sing too, I heard about her from almost everyone, and I've dreamt about her for almost a year."

"Then, why didn't you get her?"

"I thought she was too good to be real. That she was an amazing dream."

"Well, now you know she's not."

"Yeah, I do."

"I'm happy for you, you found someone who's going to make you happy."

"Thanks, Edward."

"You're welcome." with that, he left.

I went in the bathroom and showered. Then, I changed into the clothes that Edward gave me. A black T-shirt, jeans, and black tennis shoes.

After, I went downstairs to find Elena was laid out on the front couch, wearing different clothes, and covered with a thick, warm blanket.

Her wet brown hair looked almost black, draped over her right shoulder, her scent was everywhere in the room.

The smell of rosemary and mint filled the air.

Her heartbeat was normal now, and so was her breathing.

Bella came up to me from out of nowhere.

"We gave her a bath, gave her some clothes, and Carlisle bandaged her cracked rips. He said that they'll heal just fine tonight, although they'll be a little sore. Over than that, she's fine." she said.

I smiled at her.

"Thanks, Bells."

"Not a problem." she said as she left.

I went over to where Lena was laying down and sat down on the floor by the couch.

She was sleeping, silently, snuggled up in her blanket. She was really beautiful. Not meaning to sound weird.
