Jacob's POV

I went home. I went through the door to see Dad and Charlie sitting on the couch.

"Hey, kid." said Charlie.

"Hey, Charlie. What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing, just came to check on your old man." he answered.

"Thanks, Charlie." my Dad said.

"No problem, buddy. Well, I gotta get goin, don't want to miss dinner, and Lena is an EXCELLENT chef." Charlie said, getting up.

"Alright, see ya later, Charlie." Dad said.

"Bye Charlie." I said.

"See ya, guys." Charlie said as he went out the door.

I sat down next to my dad, sighing happily as I did so.

"Why are you so happy?" Dad asked.

"Dad... I found her."

"Who?"

"The girl of my dreams, my imprint."

"That's great news, Jake. Who is it?"

"That's the thing. She's Charlie's youngest daughter."

"Elena?"

I nodded.

"Jake, even if she's Charlie's daughter, if she's your imprint, she's the one for you. Charlie would understand since he would know that you love her, you wouldn't hurt her, and he's known you since you were born."

"You really think so, Dad?"

"I KNOW so."

I smiled, stood up, and went to the kitchen to make dinner.

After dinner and seeing the day turn black, I stood up to go to the door.

"Where you going, Jake?" Dad asked.

I turned around to face him.

"Elena." I answered.

He smiled slightly.

"It feels like a part of you is gone again when you're not close to her, doesn't it?"

"Yeah."

"You start getting paranoid about her safety and your heart feels like a drum."

I nodded.

"That's exactly the same feeling I had with your mother."

"How did you... cope when she died?"

He sighed.

"When your mom died, I thought that I was dead, too. There are two reasons why you didn't become an orphan when your mom died. One, is that I still had you and you needed me. Two, because I know that when I die, I'll be with Sarah again."

I smiled when he said this.

"I'll see you later, Dad."

"Alright, no messing around, okay?"

"Yes, sir." I said with a fake salute before I went out the door.

Elena's POV

After dinner, I took a shower and got dressed in a extra large green T-shirt, and black sweatpants. I brushed my hair and left it down.

When, I laid down on my bed for a while, I couldn't sleep.

You know when earlier in the day, you feel tired, but the moment you lay in bed, your body's like, 'Just kidding!'?

Well, I was having one of those nights.

Tap!

Some flew on my window. A bug, maybe?

Tap!

Okay, what is that?

I got out of bed, went to the window, opened it, and looked out.

"Jacob?!" I whisper shouted.

"Back up, I'll be there in a second." he said.

I backed up almost to my bed.

He flipped from the tree, the side of the house, and into my room, with ease.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I had to see you. I didn't wake you up, did I?"

"No, I couldn't sleep."

"Well, I just wanted to see how you were doing." he started to go out the window.

"Jacob, wait!" I said as I grabbed his hand.

He stopped.

"Yeah?" he asked.

"Can you stay with me? I couldn't sleep, and I could use the company. Please stay."

He smiled, slightly.

"Alright, I'll stay."

We went on my bed and pulled the blanket over us.

He wrapped his right arm around my waist and left his left arm on top of the blankets. My right arm was on the blankets, my left arm around his torso.

"So, what do you want to do?" I asked.

"I wanna learn more about you."

"Okay. Ask any questions you want."

"Um... Favorite color?"

"Blue. You?"

"Green. Favorite movie?"

"The Goonies. What about you?"

"Don't really have one. Favorite book or book series?"

"The Eragon Series. You?"

"The Hunger Games series. Favorite Singer?"

"Um..... Michael Jackson."

"Eminem. Favorite song?"

"Mirrors. You?"

"Faithfully."

"That's a good song."

"Yeah. Favorite flower?"

"Red roses. Yours?"

"Same."

I yawned a little. Jacob smiled.

"Someone's sleepy." he said.

"No, I'm not."

"Go to sleep, Len. I'm not going anywhere."

I nodded.

I laid my head on his chest and fell asleep.
