We got out the car, Jonny helping out his grandma, and I got out the seat behind Adam who was driving. I walked around the front of the car and Jonny shut the other door, and his grandma yelped. I spun around quickly to see that Jonny had managed to get her hair stuck in the car door.

"Jesus Jonny, how'd you manage that?" I asked, slightly stunned, going over to help.

"She must've been in the way when I closed it!" he told me, tugging at her hair.

"No, no, no! don't pull" I cried.

"Hiya!" Jackie called from the door.

"Hold on Grandma, hold on!" Adam reassured her.

"What's going on?" Jackie asked.

"Hi mum, Grandma's hair is stuck" Adam informed her.

"What?"

"Her hairs stuck."

"Jonny, just open the door!" I told him.

"It won't!"

"Mum?"

"Hello Jackie!" she chuckled nervously.

"Undo the window!" Jackie instructed.

"What do you think I'm trying to do?"

"Hurry up!"

"Wait maybe if I..." He nudged the car, which made the alarms blare.

"Great" Adam complained.

"Is that the police?" Grandma asked confused.

"Adam, keys" I shouted over the alarms. He threw me the keys, which I caught, and then pressed the 'unlock' button which turned the alarm off. then, I climbed into the driver's seat and climbed across into the passenger seat, and opened the door from the inside. Grandma was released, so I opened the door fully, and took Jonny's hand, getting out again.

"Are you okay mum?" Jackie asked.

"Sorry Grandma" Jonny said.

"You're such a dickhead!" Adam told him as he caught the keys I tossed back to him.

"Shut up!"

"How's my hair?"

"Its fine Mum, its fine" Jackie replied, looking at the bit sticking up. "How did you manage to get her hair stuck in the window like that?"

"Because he's a dickhead, that's how" Adam said.

"She must've leant in when I pressed the button or something"

"You know something, you are a dickhead" Jackie told him coldly. He looked very upset, so I stood on my toes to kiss his cheek.

"Don't worry, I think you lovely" I told him, and he smiled a little. We went in the house and took our coats off, while Grandma looked in the mirror to sort her hair out. I hung my coat up on a hook, and walked with the boys towards the kitchen, avoiding Jackie being savaged by her mothers' remarks about her hair. We looked for Martin in the kitchen, but he wasn't there.

"Boys, Katie, we've got something to show you" Jackie told us as we turned back around.

"Really? What?"

"You'll see."

"Grandma's going to do a strip for us?" Jonny joked. Martin then came out of the toilet, shirtless as usual.

"Hello bambinos, femmina" he greeted cheerfully.

"With dad?" Jonny added.

"Hello Martin!" Grandma replied.
