"Ma? Pa? Nasa bahay na po ako."

"Oh anak. Kain kana dito oh, naghain na ako. Nagluto din ako ng palabok. Favorite mo to diba?"

Sapphire Jade Kimura. My nice and loving mother.

"HA! YES! YES! YOW! I beat ya, son!! Hahaha, bow unto your king!"

Gray Reed Kimura. My cool, noisy and childish father. He treats us like his bestfriends he even offered to call him by his name instead of papa or father. Pero we declined. But we freely treat each other like friends.

"Awww! Come on dad!! That was unfair!! You clearly cheated!!" sagot naman ni kuya Cyan.

Cyan James Kimura, CJ for short. My older brother. He's cool and caring pero palagi niya akong kinukulit. We're in really good terms dahil relate na relate kami sa isa't isa. He also teaches me a lot of things.

"No son, that's called tactics and techniques. You need brains and awesomeness. Like me! Hahahahaha." sagot ni papa. Haaay naku.

"Papa, wag masyadong feeling baka bukas biglang babagsak kompanya mo." Pabiro kong sabi.

"Heeey!! Hindi ako mafeeling, I'm just stating the fact. If you didn't have a gwapo and cool dad, you wouldn't be as pretty, handsome and cool now."

"Hahahaha, he's been like that even befofe he was a fetus." sagot ni kuya. Exaggerated naman to masyado.

"Oh! And welcome home, bunso!"

Plus.. There's still one more person to introduce.

"Ne, ate. How do you solve this equation?" tanong ni Kei sabay abot ng kanyang librong hawak hawak.

Kei Azure Kimura. Ang bunso naming lalaki. He's the cutest thing on earth. Tska, he's obsessed in studying. He's only in his first year as elementary student but he's already learning high school topics. Nilihi ata to sa libro. He's only six years old pero ang mature na niyang magisip.

That's why we are such a colourful family.

Maths, ugh! Hindi naman sa ayaw ko ang maths, although I'm good at it, nakakatamad lang talagang magisip at magcalculate.

"For the following arithmetic progression, determine the 100th term- Oh, so you're learning sequences." Grabe tong batang to. Ang alam ko ang pinagaaralan pa lang nila sa grade 1 is how to add, subtract and multiply. This kid is bizarre.

"Let's sit down. I'll explain it to you." sabi ko sa kanya at naglakad patungo sa sofa para maupo at sinundan naman ako ni Kei.

"Let's rematch dad! I won't allow it!!" sigaw ni kuya.

Ang ingay naman netong dalawa.

"Ok so..."

"To get the hundredth term, you need to find the first term or the intial term also sometime stated as T1. So let's see the equation asked.

Tn+1 = Tn+8 with a initial term of 23. You see this equation?..."

"It can be also shown in this equation: Tn = T1 + (n-1)(8), I find this equation more easy to understand than the Tn+1 it has shown. Now all you have to do is substitute all the given numbers to the equation. Since it is looking for the 100th term, the Tn would be T100. T1 or the initial term is 23 and the (n-1) means the previous term so the previous term would be 99. Now to write the equation it would be like this: T100 = 23 + 99(8). Now I'm sure you know how to solve it from here." pag eexplain ko kay Kei. Hooh! I need to take a breath.

"Hai! I get it now. You made it sound so easy nee-san. You also explained it so clearly.

You're probably wondering why we speak so many languages. Our parents encourage us to speak all the languages that is native to our family para naman daw may knowledge kami at tsaka daw in case na we'd meet our cousins in our dad's side since they'll be either japanese or english. Though english is part of the language in Philippines so there's no problem about that.

"Kanina ko pa kayo tinatawag ah? Kumain na kayo at baka lumamig tong pagkain. Dad and CJ, i pause niyo muna yan. Kei, halika na dito. Kumain ka muna so that your brain can function better.

"No! We can't afford to pause this hon. I'm about to beat CJ's ass." sagot ni papa.

"Anong mas prefer niyo? I paupause niyo o papatayin ko yang ps3?"

"Come, son. Our divine ruler summons us. We shall obey her." biro ni papa.

Nang maupo na kaming lahat, nanalangin kami at pagkatapos we say the usual chant,

"ITADAKIMASU!" sabay sabay naming sambit at nagsimula ng kumain.

[A/N]

Ano? Ok pa ba kayo jan? Haha, baka sumabog na utak niyo dun sa maths session nila Blue at Kei? Sumabog din utak ko dito e, hahaha.

Sa mga magtatanong pala, I'll answer you in advance. These are some japanese translation for the japanese words used in this chapter.

Nee-san means older sister or ate.

Ne means 'hey', like calling out to someone.

Hai means 'yes' or 'ok'.

Arigatou means thank you. I'm pretty sure everyone know this.

Itadakimasu - binabanggit ito bago kumain. It simply means 'let's eat'. It's a cultural way and a mannered way before eating a meal. Eating without saying this is somehow unrespectful.

Don't forget to comment, like and follow! I encourage you guys to comment and correct me if there's a grammar or spelling mistakes since I'm not a native tagalog speaker but I'm trying my best. I'm bisayan you see hihi.

Yours truly,
Bhell.
