Bambi's POV

I bolted out the door to see Calum and the others sitting on the side of the road. Rose followed me outside for the bus. She wasn't comfortable riding with me and my friends since this was only the second day I've known them. Even with the bribe of getting coffee in the mornings she decided against it.

Last night Ashton and Luke had texted me about tomorrow and asked if I wanted to be a part of their morning route consisting of trips to Starbucks with the payer alternating every day. No matter who was sick, they would always get one for the ill friend and bring it to them before school. I didn't ask my mom about it but talking them up now will put me in good hands when I ask her next week.

The bus was just turning into our neighborhood and turned the opposite way of my and Luke's house. I waved out to Rose who was standing at the end of the driveway as Calum led me to the back. He lifted the trunk door and threw my backpack in there for me. With a huff, I pushed myself up and into the car, shutting the door and buckling in to see everyone in the seats they were in the last time I was in the car. Everyone gave me a morning greeting as we pushed off.

We drove out onto the main road with the radio being turned down. "So, does Bambi have a drink she would like from the basics' coffee shop?" Luke asked as he turned to face me as best as he could.

"Yup," I said pulling out my phone. The drink I normally get isn't really a coffee drink and it's from the "secret menu." It's more of a DIY Starbucks butterbeer and I had the recipe in my phone from a page I found a long time ago. I explained it to him and even showed him what was in it. "The thing is they always get it wrong and put all of the caramel on top instead of the first three pumps inside so I have to manually mix it."

The vehicle pulled into the drive-thru with a long line awaiting at Starbucks. Calum turned his head a bit. "Oh, yeah we forgot to tell you! So we decided that instead of having a huge party Saturday, Mikey's got a granny flat behind his house that we're just going to hang out at."

My brows furrowed. "What about all of that extensive planning we did the the other idea?" I asked sitting back in my seat.

"That's going up on the shelf for later."

I nodded going down to my phone and playing Sudoku. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Michael taking glances at me several times. It wasn't until I actually looked up when I saw his hair was only tinted pink instead of the bright red that it was yesterday. He probably had a shit hairdresser and it all came off in the shower.

"What happened to your hair?" I asked with a bit of a laugh.

Michael looked up from his phone. "It was temporary dye," he said a little sadly. I just nodded as we inched forward.

I wanted to bring up the weird dream I had last night when silence fell into the car. Everyone was looking down at their phones without really saying anything. Calum has turned up the radio a bit to cover up the quiet atmosphere. Honestly it probably wasn't the best idea because of some of the things that happened. They weren't bad, but it was like my dream was really targeted. Maybe I could bring it up later.

"Have you guys ever heard of 'Don't Get Me Started?'" I heard myself ask before I could process it. Some heads raised in question. "It's this game that I used to play with some of my friends and someone would put out a topic and you would have to rant about it as long as you could whether you hate the topic or not."

Ash poked his head out from behind Michael's and my seats. "Sounds fun! I wanna play." The other three agreed shortly after. "Can you show us how to play?"

"Yeah," I chuckled, fixing myself so I was turned towards the middle. "Just give me a topic."

"Pencils," Luke suggested. "Let's see how far you can get with pencils."
