Unempathetic Brent Teris
A Short Story
by Ori-Ash

Ash Lond had always loved Loud George's Gaming Haven with its cramed atmosphre and, fun filled with games along every wall. It was a place where she felt safe.

She was a deppresed, lonely, Dr pepper drinker with flat face and small hands. Her friends saw her as a chubby, comical writer, and helpless. Once, she had even rescued, her best friend Chloe Jess from a burning building. That's the sort of woman she was and know one knew.

Ash walked over to the window and reflected on her Flashing lights surroundings. The rain hammered like soft twiter of blue birds.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Brent Teris. Brent was an unempathetic author with a lanky body and a plain face .

Ash gulped. She was not prepared for Brent.

As Ash stepped outside and Brent came closer, she could see the pickled smile on his face.

"I am here because I want closure of our fight," Brent bellowed, in a hopeless tone. He slammed his fist near Ash's chest, with the force to be wary. "I frigging love you, Ash Lond, why can't you see that."

Ash looked back, even more depressed and still fingering the ripped scarf. "Brent, It's been hard to even deal with this, i still love you," she replied with the last part in a wisper he couldn't hear as tears weld up in her eyes.

They looked at each other with tense feelings, like two sad, baby kittens crying at a very unexpected a funeral of Chloe Jess, which had piano music playing in the background and sorowfull families crying .

Ash studied Brent's lanky body and plain face as she used to. Eventually, she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, but I can't give you closure of our fight," she explained, in pitying tones" i just can't bring my self to forgive you ever again.

Brent looked sorry, his eyes were raw from crying like a baby left out to die,Ash's heart hurt so much as she looked his eyes.

Ash could actually hear Brent's heart shatter into 9711 pieces. Then the unempathetic author hurried away into the distance.

Not even a drink of water would calm Ash's nerves tonight or ever.
