I lived with abusive parents and I was like Roadtrip's little sister. They didn't know about the abuse they just thought I hated being at home like a typical teenager. I self harmed to feel something after all their words and abuse had numbed me. One day Rye was going to surprise me for my birthday and he found me crying in the bathroom with blood running from cuts on my arms. He then picked me up and carried me to safety and away from the place called hell. After that happened he told the boys what happened and they became really protective over me.

~Riley's POV~

"You're just a worthless piece of shit Brat. You don't deserve to be here!" My mother screams at me. Hi, I'm Riley Shelby. Daughter to the richest, saddest married couple known to man.

My no good for shit people I call Parents. You see my parents are these big shot worldwide car company owners, and they have one of the biggest car companies in the world. Point is they have a lot of customers and a lot of fucking money.

I look at the woman standing before me, the one in whom gave birth to me. Her eyes are bloodshot likes she's been drinking again, her hair is in a horrid rats nest, her red lipstick is smudged across her face like she's been kissing someone, and there's a bright red mark on her throat.

Seeing as my father hasn't been home the past couple days, due to being so drunk all the time he can barely decipher his hand from his ass cheek, my mom has probably cheated..Again. Her and dad cheat on each other non-stop. It's disgusting really, but from what I know they used to be happy.

"Mom, you're drunk...Yet again. I'm not even going to say anything about the fact I know what you've been doing. How about you and I go downstairs. You take a nice hot bath while I cook you something to eat real quick so you can get some rest. You really need it."

She doesn't say anything, but she looks back up at me and nods her head almost...desperately. I shrug my shoulders but guide my extremely drunk mother down the stairs to her bathroom. I run her a hot bath while she sits on her bed. I quickly gather some clothes for her to wear then shut off the bathtub.

"Mom, your bath is ready. You have clothes and a towel on the counter. There's also a glass of water and some painkillers. I'll be making you something to eat so we can sleep." I tell her. She nods. I help her up into the bathroom where she takes it from there.

I quickly race to the kitchen where I quickly make a decent meal for my mother. We have all this decent food, yet there's never anyone here to make it. They are either to drunk, or too busy not being here because they are overly done with this place. You could probably guess which category I fall into.

When I am finished making a meal for my mother and myself I return to her bedroom. She sits there on her bed cleaning off her make-up and brushing out the knots in her hair. She looks up at me, and huffs.

"Foods ready." I tell her. She smiles at me.

"I'll be there in a sec, honey." She replies, running the brush through her hair. She huffs again throwing the brush on the floor.

"Here mom let me help." I tell her picking up the brush from the floor. I sit on the bed while she moves to the floor. I begin running the brush through her hair softly to make sure I don't hurt her.

Soon I hear sobs and sniffles. "Riley, I'm sober. And I'm sorry. Sorry for everything that I've said. Your father and I have been seeing other people, which I'm sure you can tell. Point is, we might be getting a divorce, we've been trying to stay together for you and for the company, but it's just not going to happen."
