"Noah, you really didn't have to do this." I shake my head at my Luna and pull her onto my lap. The kids are running around in the park where I took them for a picnic all those months ago. We have definitely come far, I think looking at Blaze.
"You love this place and I promised to make sure we come here for holidays. Besides, I missed Jacque and Lily." She snuggles into my chest and stays silent, eating a strawberry. Her effortless ability to make my heart race is awe-inspiring.
After the Luna Ceremony, I decided to take Blaze and the kids away to France before the pups go back to school. I'm not going to lie, having her all to myself and away from Aiden is lovely, but she doesn't need to know that. As far as she's concerned, I no longer have a problem with Aiden. I don't, but it still irks me when she goes to him with her problems; Her confidante. I want to be there for her, even if it's about me. I roll my eyes. What does he have that I don't? My shoulder is much more comfortable to cry on, I'd like to think. Melody thinks so.
"Daddy!" My head shoots up at the sound of Melody squealing, ready to attack anyone who's hurting her, but I just see her struggling to get onto the branch. Midnight ditched her, perching on a thick branch like a leopard. He's reading a Skulduggery Pleasant book and his leg dangles lazily, swinging back and forth. I chuckle at Mel as she tries to jump onto the closest branch. I lift Blaze from my lap and stand to help my little wolf up. I make sure she's secure and stand beneath them, ready if one falls. I'm not that reckless.
Arms snake around my waist and I nearly groan at the familiar electricity running through me. I pull my mate closer, relaxing.
"This is actually one of my many fantasies of you and the kids." My brows furrow and I glance at Blaze questioningly. Fantasies? With the kids in them as well? Odd.
"What do you mean, Love?" She shrugs non-commitedly.
"Some nights, when I was alone and you didn't know where we were, I would have dreams about you being here, playing with them and we were always happy in them. I had a few before as well, whilst living in the pack house before the kids. We weren't together then, but I'd dream about how it would be if you and I actually worked out from the start and the way you'd react to my pregnancy. You were happy about it in them. All I could ever think about is if it were to happen the way we were, you'd hate me. I'm sorry I left you." She snuggles into my side and I engulf her in a hug.
"You don't need to be sorry, Love. I also had those dreams, the ones of us being together when we weren't and when you were gone, I'd dream about finding you and everything would be fine or that you never left and it was all a nightmare. I would wake up and wreck the room. I moved out of our room because of the memories. I couldn't stand remembering you and not being able to hold you."
"I love you, Noah." She kisses my chest and tightens her hold. I lean down and kiss her hair.
"Daddy, look!" I glance up and do a double take. Melody has climbed even higher than Midnight and an uncomfortable feeling settles into my stomach. The urge to get up there and bring her down is overwhelming and I feel Blaze shake with laughter.
"That feeling? It's called worrying. You never get used to it and unfortunately it rarely goes away." I release Blaze and ready myself to go after my little wolf, but Blaze pulls me by my arm.
"She's fine. Let her go, let her experience it. You're here to catch her if she falls." I look back down at Blaze and her wistful smile infects me. I grin at her and bring her back into my chest.
"I can't believe I missed out on four years of this, with you, with them. I want another one." I growl into her ear and playfully nip at her earlobe. She giggles and writhes in my arms as I start to tickle her.
"Noah, no! Noah, stop!" I laugh as we sink to the ground in a heap. She's breathless, practically heaving in my arms as the stimulation subsides.
I sigh, content and keep an eye on our pups.
"I'm serious though, I want another one." She grins and shakes her head, draping herself over my chest as we lie down in the grass.
"Jeez, can't keep your paws off me, can you, Alpha?" She giggle again as I growl in approval.
"Oh, Little Mate, you'd be surprised by the amount of restraint I have to show around you." I move her up and bite her neck her mark and she starts laughing, pulling her neck into her shoulders.
"Stop it, not here." She moves to whisper something in my ear and my eyes widen.
"Why, Mrs. Jackson, what a vixen you have become," I say, appalled at her bluntness. She winks at me and move to snuggle into my chest again.
"I'll make good on that promise later." She mutters and I feel the beating in my chest at her words. My mate knows exactly which buttons to push to get me excited.
"Mommy, Nighty doesn't want to play with me."
I smile up at my little wolf and nudge Blaze.
"You've been summoned."
These moments are nothing short of perfect; Flawless.

And that concludes the story of Blaze and Noah.
I'm editing both stories, but because there will be a few changes and more explanation to the storyline that are vaguely explained, the edited version will be seperate books. This is a first draft and it was just to get the idea in chronological order rather than the jumbled mess in my mind. Furthermore, these versions will stay on Wattpad, but I highly recommend reading the edited version if you want to.The edited versions will also have more chapters, extended stories of other characters other than Blaze and Noah and much more. (No spoilers)
I am so grateful for you guys who've been on their journey with them and if I feel up to it and if I feel it necessary at some point, I could be writing a spin-off on either Aiden and Alice or Midnight, Melody and Luke.
I'm also writing two other book, Cyber. I'll be updating those chapters as soon as I've finished writing at least ten, so I don't get behind on updating like I did with this book.
Reminder: This book was written when I was fourteen and I cringe at my inexperience, too.
I love you all and thank you for taking a chance on my book. :)
