Standing still in front of the flavoured milk section, Hikari was having a hard time deciding between getting the vanilla flavoured milk or the strawberry flavoured milk. She stood there long enough that two songs in her playlist finished playing.
"Another episode of vanilla versus strawberry is it?" Junmyeon spoke, now standing next to her.
He came into the supermarket to pick up snacks so he could stay up the night but as he walked towards the cashier, he noticed a familiar figure standing still in front of the wall of flavoured milk.
Hikari still stood there in silence, not responding to Junmyeon's question. Taking a step forward, Junmyeon went out and reached out for a strawberry flavoured milk. He then proceeded to head to the cashier.
Noticing the absence of Hikari, Junmyeon turned back to see that Hikari was looking at him with a questioning look. Chuckling, he tilted his head in the direction of the exit and spoke, "Come on silly, I've got your drink right here."
Slowly, she made her way towards Junmyeon and as soon as she came next to him, he smiled. Walking towards the cashier, she followed behind Junmyeon. She was silent and just looked at Junmyeon as he completed his transaction.
The moment they got out of the supermarket, Junmyeon prompted Hikari to wait a moment and she did. Not long, Junmyeon came back (his snacks already packed in his bag) with a straw in hand and the strawberry milk in the other.
Handing the straw to Hikari, he opened up the carton of milk. With Hikari still looking at him questioningly, he took back the straw and placed it in the carton.
"Here to go," Junmyeon said as he handed the milk to Hikari. He raised his hand and patted her head, "I figured that it would be better for you to go with strawberry because you already drank a vanilla malt shake and vanilla milkshake yesterday."
"Was it necessary to bring that up?" Hikari glared at Junmyeon as she started to sip on her milk.
"Bring up what?" Junmyeon asked back, not knowing what she was referring to.
"It was your fault for giving me that milkshake..." Hikari complained softly.
"Then what was I suppose to do? You looked so cute enjoying the shake, I couldn't resist making another vanilla flavoured drink for you," Junmyeon chuckled at the now pouting Hikari.
Taking away his hand from her head, he then took her hand and made her follow his steps. As they began to walk to the train station, Junmyeon spoke in a whisper, but still loud enough for Hikari to hear, "I just like to see you happily enjoying your drink, no matter its milk or coffee."
