Junmyeon couldn't help but to just stand there. Viewing how Hikari just stares down the view of sparkling lights within the concrete forest.

Junmyeon has had bad luck with his financials and he's been forcing himself to get all the shifts available to move back into a 'safe' zone. But it had just been so hard to manage between his mental and physical exhaustion.

He let out a deep sigh and turned away to stare into the starless sky. He really just wanted to fall back into the ground and let his body seep in the coldness of the pavement. He closed his eyes and lets his heart feel heavy.

Not long after, he felt slight warmth against his forehead. As he took in a deep breath, he saw Hikari the moment he opened his eyes.

He saw the smile on her face resides worry but it still had that kindness and understanding that Hikari often shows. He knew that kindness is the reason why she hasn't been giving out suggestions to help him.

"I feel so bad that I made you lose your smile," Junmyeon said as he dropped his shoulders.

"You know it's not your fault. Things happen okay? And I'm not mad at you for refusing my help," Hikari said as she reached out to Junmyeon's hand and locked their arms together.

"I would have done the same. I get the guilt of it. The feeling of not wanting to put even more onto the people you love. And the feeling that you might be a drag if you accepted help as if all the person does is to help you and you can't help them back," Hikari said as she guided them slowly towards a bench and sat down.

"I don't want to push you away like this," Junmyeon said with a cough.

"You're not. It's not goodbye goodbye," Hikari said. As she lets go of Junmyeon's hand, she then rested her head on his shoulder.

"Think of it as letting go of someone's hand because you need to eat or go grab your girlfriend's coffee order. You don't really lose the warmth of it," Hikari explained.

"If you put it that way, I guess it makes sense," Junmyeon softly replied.

"But it feels like I'm being unfair to you," Junmyeon said as he let out a sigh.

"If you feel bad, sing me a lullaby," Hikari chuckled.

"Thank you, Hikari," Junmyeon said as he rests his head against Hikari's and slowly starts to sing.
