"Do you have anything to tell me?" Hikari asked as she saw how smiley Junmyeon was right after they ate lunch from one of the restaurants in the theme park.
"Nothing, really," Junmyeon replied as he turned his head away. He let out a hearty breath and whispered to himself, "Not yet at least."
"But then again," Junmyeon snapped his head to look at Hikari and let out a chuckle. That caused Hikari to give Junmyeon a questioning gaze.
"You look great today."
Hikari laughed, not because of the compliment, but how Junmyeon's facial expression was that of someone who had something to hide but couldn't think of a proper lie to give.
"Your body language is obviously hinting that you're scheming something up and I'm worried that it's getting me on that terrifying ride up there," Hikari said, squinting her eyes as she tried her best to squeeze out a confession from the smiley, head-shaking Junmyeon.
"Look!" Hikari's eyes widened at hearing the screams of people coming from the ride.
Junmyeon effervescent smile turned into a gentle one as he pulled Hikari into his embrace, "I won't do that to you and you know that."
Hikari hummed in agreement and Junmyeon pulled away but without letting Hikari's hands go. He giggled before saying, "The most I'll do is make you go through the haunted house with me as my shield."
Hikari rolled her eyes and sighed in disbelief, "I'm just as scared as you are of haunted houses and you're telling me you'll use me as a shield and run away?"
"Pretty much, yeah."
"Unbelievable."
Hikari shook her head and pulled her hands away from Junmyeon. However, before she could walk away far from Junmyeon, he walked right next to her.
"Isn't this kind of banter our thing? I don't think you would be mad with me," Junmyeon questioned as he tilted his head a little to get a glimpse of Hikari's face. He saw Hikari smiling and let out a laugh, "Look! You really wanted to have the last laugh, don't you?"
Hikari laughed as well as she turned to face Junmyeon, "Oh come on, let it slide. Let's go on that ride next!"
She walked away with jolly and Junmyeon's just left to smile at Hikari's antics. Of which, was one of the things he loved about her.

As the day slowly came to an end and crowds of people gathered at the main attraction to wait for the parade to start, Junmyeon and Hikari also made their way to the sea of people.
The sound of music started to get louder and changed from instrumentals played at a lower volume to fully blasting music.
While they made their way slowly to the starting point of the parade, the song playing transitioned to a song that was their favourite.
They stopped at looked at each other. Junmyeon extended his hand, to which Hikari accepted and the two began to dance.
"You know, I've learnt something important ever since we've started to know each other," Junmyeon said as he looked at Hikari with earnest eyes. Hikari smiled in response, hinting him to continue.
"Whenever I take your hand, I never want to let go."
Hikari didn't reply straight away and they continued to dance. As the song gradually came to a stop and started to transition to another song, their dance steps also gradually slowed down.
However, they didn't let go of each other's hands.
"It's the same for me, I never want to let go of your hand," Hikari spoke, "And I want you to be the only one holding onto mine."
"I can't explain how grateful I am for you. You make me smile at the silliest things. Laugh at the most ridiculously unfunny jokes," Junmyeon confessed with a peal of laughter.
"But I've grown to love it. And how I can feel happy at the smallest things."
Junmyeon pulled Hikari into an embrace. They held onto each other dearly.
Softly, Junmyeon whispered to Hikari, "It's days of endless happiness when I'm with you."
"And I want that to be forever."

Hello!
It's Lily, coming back after so long.
I feel bad for taking so long to finish this when I planned this to be a short small project but I couldn't help it when a lot began to happen in my life and I just didn't feel mentally well enough to sit and write. Another reason might also be that because I haven't been well enough to leave things sitting for so long that I don't know how to get back into the writing pace I had.
I feel bad that I left the story for so long for some people. I don't know how I'll manage the other stories I have because I don't think my writing is up to the standard I set for myself but we'll see.
If you stayed with me, I'm grateful for that and I'll always keep that in mind whenever I need a writing boost.
Here's to happy days for you in the future just as how Hikari and Junmyeon are spending their days!
Warmly sending you love,
– Lily ♥︎
