Hikari was idly sitting at one of the cubicles at the student centre, catching up on her readings before Junmyeon walked by and just casually sat at the other seat, across from her. Simply leaving his bag in his seat, he got up and patted Hikari's head before disappearing.
After Hikari finished reading two pages of the pdf she had to read through, Junmyeon came back with two cartons of milk. Placing them in the middle of the table, Junmyeon then leaned back against the seat and looked at the focused Hikari.
Closing her laptop, Hikari looked up to Junmyeon and the moment their eyes met, Junmyeon smiled as he let out a relieved sigh. With an elbow against the table, Hikari supported her chin with her hand and spoke to Junmyeon, "If you're tired, let's just head home, I can always read these later."
"Do you mind if I walk to home today?" Junmyeon asked, his response a bit off topic. "Any particular reason on why?" Hikari replied with a question, but Junmyeon simply smiled.

And so the two walked together, side by side. The 20-minute train ride was just sharing earphones, listening to the same songs as they stared at the passing scenery and changing of people from one station to another.
After they got off at Hikari's stop, the two began to sip on the milk Junmyeon had brought. Vanilla for Hikari and chocolate for Junmyeon. There wasn't any exchange of words between them as they walked from the station to Hikari's house.
5 minutes passed and they were nearing the edge of Hikari's estate. Making out the familiar wall, Hikari's steps came to a halt and she turned to look at Junmyeon, "You can just see me off here."
"We're already close, nothing wrong with a few more steps right?" Junmyeon lightly replied and continued to walk. His steps slow and short so Hikari could catch up and they could walk side by side once more.
Not long, they arrived at the grand entrance of the estate and Hikari was welcomed home by some of the staff. But even then, Junmyeon continued to walk next to Hikari until they both got to the front door.
Before she could open the door, one of the butlers opened the door and happily welcomed her home. Greeting Junmyeon as well, he even invited Junmyeon to stay for tea but Junmyeon shook his head.
"Thank you for the offer but I'm just walking Hikari home," Junmyeon turned down the offer as he slightly bowed to the butler. Bowing in return, the butler soon disappeared from sight.
Shifting his eyes to Hikari, "It was fun to walk you home."
"You could have just went back when we got to my stop," she protested with a slight pout but it was only for a moment as her smile returned to her lips.
"I'll take it on a positive note and just think this as your form of exercising the calories you gain from eating a lot of snacks during the weekend," she chuckled as she spoke which caused him to ruffle her hair.
"That's just you taking it on a sarcastic note," Junmyeon replied and took away his hand. "I'll head back now. Rest well, Hikari."
Just before Junmyeon could turn to head towards the gate, Hikari softly grabbed his hand it made him turn to face her. Planting a kiss on Junmyeon's cheek, Hikari then ruffled his hair as a form of revenge.
Junmyeon chuckled at Hikari's action. Returning a kiss on her cheek, he whispered to her, "Now all I can think is how you're absolutely attractive with a scent of vanilla."
