7 | Looking at You Makes Me Feel Happy

Hikari was spending her Saturday like always. At the corner of the coffee shop where Junmyeon was working.

She's been so focused on her work that she never realised how Junmyeon would gently look at her whenever he manages to take a break in between entertaining the customers.

The way she would hide her face as she yawns and then rubs the slight tears from the yawning.

The way she would lightly pout whenever she pauses in between writing.

The way she simply messes around with her hair as she thinks hard for ideas.

The way she taps her feet along to the soft chill music playing in the background.

The way she covers her mouth with her left hand as she rests her face against her hand whenever she paid full concentration on reading. 

The way she would lean straight against the seat and stretch her hand out for her coffee.

It was just the simplest of actions that she does. The actions that he saw all too often. But he still continues to find happiness in seeing her in the same light he had always seen her.

"You've been smiling a lot today," Minseok teased, pulling Junmyeon out of his thought bubble.

"She just makes me happy," Junmyeon said before moving away from his friend.

Taking the phone they used to play music in the shop, Junmyeon made his way to Hikari. Leaning against her table, Junmyeon softly looked at her as she was furiously typing. Sensing someone was near her, she quickly looked up and a smile appeared on her lips as soon as she saw who it was.

Looking at the phone in his hand, Junmyeon swiped the screen for a few moments and then he stopped and looked back at Hikari.

Hikari had worn a confused expression but it faded away as she heard the music change. A giggle left her as she heard the first few lines of the song. Mouthing out a part of the lyrics, Junmyeon then caressed her head gently, as always.
