Laughing at Neil and Kevin, I walked towards the back lounge of the bus. Before I pushed the door open, I leaned close to it. That’s when I heard soft sobs coming from the room. There was only one person that could be crying in there. I quickly opened the door. That made Jeremy lift his head and wipe away his tears. I closed the door behind myself and rushed to him. He held his phone in his right hand and looked at me with red eyes filled with tears. I sat down next to him on the couch, wrapping my arms around him. I held him tightly, resting my head on his shoulder. After a moment, I looked up at him, pouting. “Why are you crying?” I asked him. Tears slowly slid down his cheeks as he looked at me. “I really hate that we have to cancel the show in Cardiff…” He told me, his voice weak. I knew what he was going through and I felt bad for him and the band, and all of the fans. ADTR always puts on a great show and it sucks that they had to cancel the show. I leaned closer to him, placing a soft kiss on his cheek. “You know it can be rescheduled. It’ll be okay, alright? Everything will be okay.” I told him, clinging to his body. He dropped his phone on the table and engulfed my body in his arms. He shifted his position slightly and he was able to rest his head on my shoulder.
As we held each other, I felt tears falling on my shoulder. I placed 2 kisses in different places on his cheek, “Please don’t cry,” I begged of him. Seeing him cry is rare, and when he does, it’s about something that he really cares about and something that has had to really upset him. It hurt me to see him so upset.
He pulled back slowly, facing me. I moved my hand to his face, wiped away his tears, then gently caressed his cheek. “It’ll be okay,” I told him reassuringly, before placing a soft, quick kiss on his lips. He smiled lightly and didn’t cry anymore. He then nodded his head and a grin cane to my face. Even though I could tell he was still upset about it, I smiled and cuddled close to him. He held me in his arms as he rested his back on a pillow resting against the arm of the couch. I rested my head on his shoulder, holding him tightly. One of his hands came up and he ran his fingers through my hair. “I love you, (Y/N).” He told me in a soft tone. I looked up at him, “I love you too, Jeremy.” With that, I placed a soft kiss on his jawline and briefly squeezed his body.
