"We should probably go now," Johnny says as he looks at the time.

I notice it's 4:00.

"Yeah we should," I agree, "I'm starving, can we stop somewhere on the way.

"Yeah sure," Johnny says as he gets onto his bike.

We bike for 10 minutes and then stop at a coffee shop.

"I'll get us a table, can you get me a chocolate chip cookie?" Johnny asks.

I nod as I walk up to the cashier.

"I'll take a iced vanilla latte and a chocolate chip cookie," I say.

"Sure that'll be $5.20," the cashier says as he hands me the drink and cookie.

I make my way back to Johnny when I see another guy at the table, as I approach the table I notice it's our friend from school, Carson.

"Oh my god, Carson no way," I say as I give him a hug.

"Hey kenz, how have you been," he smiles.

"I'm so good, how are you here?" I ask as I sit down.

"I'm here at Jacobs beach house for the weekend," Carson replies.

"No way, Jacob has a beach house here!" I exclaim.

"Yeah it's like 20 minuets away from mine," Johnny says.

"Hey! We are throwing a party tomorrow, wanna come?" Carson asks.

"Yeah sure! We're in," I respond.

"Hayden Nadia and Lauren are here too," Johnny says.

"Cool, tell them to come too," Carson says, "I gotta go but see you guys tonight."

"Yeah see you," Johnny waves.

"Bye," I say as I take a sip out of my latte.

After me and Johnny finish our food we go outside and start biking home

"Did you know Carson's dating Annie," Johnny says.

"Really?" I say as a scrunch up my nose in disgust, "I never imagined they'd actually date."

"I know right, they're like the opposite."

Annie was the captain of the varsity gymnastics team, sports at our school take a lot of hard work and dedication.

Most people who are team captains don't get time for a social life.

Carson is the opposite he plays lacrosse and is on varsity but doesn't take a seriously. The only reason he's still on the team is because he's literally amazing at it.

"I wonder how long they'll last," I laugh.

"No more than a month," Johnny grins.

After a few minutes we reach the beach house and meet the others in the back.

"Guys we are going to Carson and Jacobs party in two hours," I say as I sit on a pool chair.

"What?" Nadia asks.

"We met Carson and he invited us to his party," Johnny explains.

"Oh cool," Nadia says as she gets out of the pool.
