They walked in silence to Trinity's Twoleg nest.
"What will happen now?" Trinity whispered.
"What do you mean?" asked Wavepelt.
"You're almost fully healed... and then my housefolk will let you go," Trinity said softly. "Almost all of my friends will be gone... Silverpaw, Rayheart, and you. Only Cocoa will be left."
Wavepelt felt sorry for the kittypet.
"Silverpaw and I could talk with you every once in a while," she sympathized. "And at least you have Cocoa."
"I know..." Trinity sighed. "But it won't be the same."
They reached the Twoleg nest, clearing the fence easily and entering the cat-flap. It was about sun-high, but it felt like dusk to Wavepelt.
She took a peek in the medical room and saw that some meat and water were there for her. Running up, she gobbled up all of the meat.
Wavepelt thought about what Trinity had said, and shivered with excitement at the thought of returning to her Clan soon. It's been more than a moon... I bet so much has happened! And to see Wheatwing and Flamefur again... But the fight with the dogs had tired her, so she lay down in her nest and slept.

Wavepelt woke in ThunderClan's camp, and knew she was dreaming. Who would appear to her this time?
She looked around and felt happy. Even if she was dreaming, the camp had the feeling of home.
"Wavepelt."
Wavepelt turned. "Rayheart! You're in StarClan!"
"And it's because of you." Rayheart dipped his head. "I can never thank you enough."
Wavepelt purred. Her respect for this cat had changed since the fight with the dogs. Now she considered him as a friend.
"What have you come for?" she asked. "Is it about 'them'?"
"I don't know about 'them'." Rayheart shook his head. "I just came to thank you."
"Okay," Wavepelt replied.
Rayheart closed his eyes, than faded. In his place stood Wolfpaw.
"Were the dogs the beast form of 'them'?" Wavepelt demanded.
Wolfpaw nodded. "They were."
"Will I face them again?"
Wolfpaw looked away. "I can't tell you that. But I can tell you: Beware the Three. A new danger is also coming soon. You must be wary of it."
"What is it?" Wavepelt was immediately curious.
"You will find out," Wolfpaw replied. "But prepare yourself." Then he started to fade away.
"Wait!" Wavepelt cried. "Prepare myself for what?"
But Wolfpaw was already gone.

"What? You really mean it?" Wavepelt gasped. "Really?"
Trinity nodded. "You're going home."
"I can't believe it!" Wavepelt thrust hersef at Trinity. "How do you know?"
"One, my housefolk took your nest," Trinity meowed. "Two, you didn't get fed this morning. And three, you're perfectly healed."
