"Okay. Umm... I guess I want to purchase a hotel." Ashton says as he stares intently at his Monopoly peice. Me, Michael, Calum, Ashton and Luke are all playing the board game on the living room floor of our apartment for some reason.
"You need four houses first idiot. DO you not know how to play?" Calum says laughing. Ash just rolls his eyes.
"Okay then give me the four houses." He mumbles. searching through his unorganized stack of paper playing money.
"You don't have enough cash." Luke says. He took the responsible job of banker. Classic Luke.
"Do we have to do this?" Michael complains. I groan too and lean back on the couch, never have really been a fan of board games. The other boys glare at us.
"You people are no fun." Luke says, sticking his tongue out at us.
"Why is everyone is such a bad fucking mood." Calum asks us. We all just ignor his comment. In all truthfulness we all knew why we were all so pissed. It was mid July. That ment college in a few weeks. And we would hardly ever see eachother after that.
"You know why Calum." Michael grumbled. Calum just shrugged and went to his room. Then Luke and Ash left, leaving me and Michael.
"You okay Stels?" Michael asked me. I just shrug. I wasnt okay. At all. But its not like I would tell him that.
"Yeah I am perfectly fine Mike." I smile and cuddle up to his chest. I wrap my arms around his torso and take a couple deep breaths. He kisses my forehead and I ignor the tightening in my throat.
"I love you so much." He mumbles into my hair. I stiffen and pull away. I give him a tight smile.
"I know you do." I whisper. I get up and walk away from him a little bit and lean against the wall with my back towards him.
"Stella." I hear him say as he comes up behind me. He wraps his arms around my waist and nuzzles my neck. I step away from him again, not willing to break his heart like I fear I will.
"She's dancing alone, I'm ready to go but she's so Lost in stereo, She's out of control, so beautiful I've been waiting for so long but she'll never know I'm losing hope 'cause she's so..." He sings to himseld as he walks away from me. I turn around and grab his hand. Now I've done it.
"Mike. I'm sorry." I mutter as I try to pull him back into my arms. But he won't come.
"Tattoos and a switchblade attitude Snakebite heart with a bubblegum smile Sex in stereo don't turn the radio down." He sings again and looks right into my eyes. I know I am hard and unfeeling. I dont need him to tell me that through song.
"I just need some time." I whisper. He just shrugs and walks away towards his room,
"Yeah Stel. Me too."
