"Hi. The four of us were Stella's crew. She would want us to do what we are about to do here today for you all. It was really her dream that none of us knew about." Luke spoke into the microphone. The four boys stand on the stage at te girl's funeral. The large church they are in echos slightly. The girl's family sits in the front row as does other friends and extended relatives of the girl.
"We were good friends of Stella. She meant a lot to us and she always will. Nothing is the same without her here now that she is gone. We would do anything to bring her back to us. Anything in this whole wide world. I loved her very much. And there will never be anyone but her on this earth that I can ever love more." Michael says now. He runs a hand through his hair and looks over to Calum to speak next.
"Stella. There are so many things and stories we could say about her... She was our girl. We adored her. The five of us did everything together... And the worst part is, that we thought we always would. I guess reality checked in and our plans of a forever holiday were ruined." Calum sighs and looks at Ashton.
Ashton wipes away a few fallen tears from his face and takes a deep breath.
"The four of us always knew that Stella thought we had talent as musicians... We just didn't know it really meant something to her. We had no idea how much she worked to get us recognized. As we were cleaning up Stella's things from her room, we found she had a youtube channel. It was all covers of songs and also ones we have written that the four of us had done. We knew that she recorded us, but we had no idea that she was promoting us at the same time. Stella had been in contact with the band All Time Low. For those of you that don't know, that was Stella's favorite band. She had been trying to get us on tour with them. She wrote in an email to them these words, "'uke, Michael, Calum and Ashton mean the world to me. If anything is to happen to me, I would be sadder than they would be because I just want to see them succeed...' So all that to say, this song was written over the past few days and it is dedicated to Stella." Ashton whispers her name with tears in his eyes.
"This one is for you Stella." Calum says,
"We love you."
