"Where the fuck is Michael?" Luke yells harshly to us. I pull the black gown over my head and look at my three friends. We all match in our gowns lounging around a class room at our high school which we had unlocked (broke into) for our own personal enjoyment. The music room. Ashton taps on the drums in the corner making us all bob our heads along with the beat. They should be in a band.
"He needs to be here." Calum says without looking up from his phone. His usless comment earns a few 'yeahs' and a nod from the oher two boys. I roll my eyes and grab my purse off a seat where it rests. Digging through it as I walk towards the doors for my keys.
"Your all idiots!" I call behind me as I walk towards the door. I hear a scrambling of feet behind me as the other boys run to catch up with me.
"Where are we goin' Stella?" Ashton asks me once they caught up. I look at them like they are compelete dumbassess, which they are.
"What?" They all say in unison.
"We are going to get our friend. We are not doing this shit without him!" I say blankly as we make it to my VW Beetle.
"Punch Buggy red!" Luke yells at the top of his lungs before all out punch Calum and Ashton's forearms.
"Why do you do that every time we see her car!" Calum shouts at a snickering Luke. I peek over my shoulder to see Caluma and Ashton rubbing their sore arms and glaring at Luke.
"I have permanant fucking bruises from you Luke!" Ashton yells as we all get into my car. I chuckle to myself.
"Permanant 'fucking' bruises? Something you would like to share with the Class Mr. Irwin? Mr. Hemmings?" I ask, doing my best impression of our science teacher Mrs. Hall. I recieved glares from Luke and Ashton and full out laughter from Calum.
Luke reached for the steareo and blasted some Green Day to fill the hot spring morning air in New Jersey where we live. I hear Luke and Calum's beautiful voices sing along to 21 Guns. They should make a band.
We pull up to Michael's house. The four of us jump out of the car and run up to his front door. Throwing it open, we find Michael's parents are away, as usual. We all run up the stairs and burst through his bedroom door at full speed.
"Michael for fucks sake!" Calum yells before pushing a sleeping Michael out of his bed.
"What the shit!" Michael roars at us. He looks us over before a paniced look registers in his eyes.
"Oh no!" He yels before scrambling up from his bedroom floor and grabbing his suit and tie, and gown off the desk in the corner of his room. His gown is draped over his guitar he keeps shoved in the coner. They should make a band those dumb fucks.
"Okay! We have no time everyone get in the car Michael will change on the way there!" I announce after checking the time. We all pile back into my car. I pursuade the boys not to make fun of Michael while he changes in the back seat which he is sharing with Calum.
"Michael why is your chest so pale do you ever take your shirt off?' I hear Calum snicker from the back seat. I can't help but laugh along. Michael is like a pasty bag of flower.
"Hurry up!" I scream over my shoulder as I run through the school parking lot, up the steps and to the outside of the gym. The four boys run at full speed behind me. We each cram our hats onto our heads before opening the doors as quietly as possible and joining the procession. We all find our way to our seats which are all right next to eachother. We listen to speeches that are long as shit. Ashton fell asleep during one. I poked his l side and he let out a yelp of laughter. Stupid ticklishness. Needless to say, that turned a bunch of heads.
After the long ass graduation, the five of us go to our favorite diner called Jefferson Diner. Great food and desert.
"We didnt even get to through our hats up in the air." Luke sates as he downs a chocolate milkshake.
"I know right, what a jip." Calum says. We all nod in our agreement. I let out a sigh and play with the remaining fries on my plate.
"Whats wrong Stella?" Michael asks me, flicking my shoulder. I sigh. I could always tell the boys whatever shit is happening in my life.
"You guys know how last Monday was my eighteenth birthday?" I ask them. They all nod.
"My parents kicked me out." I sighed.
"Mine kicked me out too." Ashton sighed. We all sat there, in quiet solomnity with eachother.
"I have an idea." Calum says suddenly. We all barely look up at him.
"You guys know how my parents own that apartment complex?" He asks like a rhetorical question. We all nod at him.
"We should all get an apartment together for the summer and live together. Then in the fall we all go to college!" He exclaims.
"Can't afford an apartment." Ashton and I say at once. We both know Luke and Michael could and Calum won't have to pay. I sigh and wish for a solution instead of living in my car.
"Thats the beauty of my being a favorite child. We can get a deal. We need one more summer guys." Calum says, looking very pleased with himself. We all sit back and think about Calum's little plan. It could work.
Probabaly it isnt the smartest idea, but hell, we are all idiots anyway.
