Ash & Chris

I close the door, stepping out of the bathroom. Brittany was my second girl of the night, and something kept luring me back out. The music is loud as I step down the stairs, passing the stoners. I've abandoned my shirt somewhere- not quite sure where but it's definitely somewhere. I still have my jacket and jeans though. And my shoes somehow managed to stay on.

Leaning on the couch I sip my drink. Not even sure what it is, Jake brought it, but it's definitely strong whatever it is. Ash walks up to me, her arms folded as she looks unimpressed.

She's a tough crowd, so I never even consider her someone I'm trying to please with my parties.
She's also incredibly hard to get in bed with, so I don't do that either.

"What are you even trying to do with this party? It's so boring I bet no ones having fun." She rolls her eyes. I sip my drink and look at her. She's also incredibly hot with huge brown eyes and wears these sexy round red glasses, So who wouldn't attempt to get her in bed? I mean- With those huge glasses who wouldn't think about it?
She chose to wear a red crop top with black skinny jeans and red wedges. But her crop top is a V-neck and it's super low cut so-

"What are you trying to do with that crop? Are you trying to tempt me?" I put an emphasis on trying, pulling on her crop top.

She scoffs and fixes her shirt, "Whatever. But you didn't answer my question."

"Right right. I don't know? Lost virginity and profanity. Drunk adults running around like teens- have some fun you nerd." I joke, finishing my drink and throwing the red plastic cup at my best pal Ron.

It hits him straight in his head and he looks up from the person he was talking to and flips me off. I stick out my tongue.
"Hey? Are you even listening? I was explaining that your goal of the party is highly unrealistic and you should just-"

"Just what, Ash? Study and become the best college student? I don't care about that shit. But you have a really big mouth so why not put it to use?" I tilt my head to the side. God- Either the drink is kicking in or my brain just gave up because when I tilted my head the whole world did a fucking three sixty. Luckily something caught me before I hit the floor. Dunno what it was but it was soft and squishy and-

I lift up off of whatever I was on, "Ah shit- Sorry don't know the fuck happened." I hold my head and look up, At the completely red faced Ash.
God if she isn't the cutest fucking girl.
"T-the fuck is wrong with you..! Y-you pervert.." She mumbles, her voice lowering to a whisper.

She rambles on, But I'm hardly listening. Stuck between her cherry lips and her night sky eyes. Maybe if I look close enough I can find tiny galaxies or maybe the Milky Way. Maybe I'll find constellations. Maybe I'll find the beautiful Virgo that she is. Or maybe I'll find the cherries her lips must taste like. Or the flowery smell of her perfume. Or the soft, warm, silky feel of her dark hair in between my fingers as they tingle into knots.

I tune back into reality where she's explaining how to perfect my wardrobe or some shit, but my hands aren't in her hair and my lips aren't on hers and I instantly feel terrible and cold and alone.

"Chris? You okay? Did I take the insult too far?" Ash asks, looking me up and down.

"I have your number, right?" I suddenly blurt, looking up at her. Ah dammit- now she's gonna think your stupid- Actually no! Why do I even care? I don't! I don't at all!

"Uh..Yeah?" She Laughs, "You forgot?"

"No no I uh.." I pause, getting lost in her galaxy. For the second time at least.
She snaps her fingers, "You good?"

"I think I'm falling for you..."I think out loud, though it was literally a whisper so I don't think anyone heard the desperation in my voice.
"Huh? You think you're falling on me? No no I can't carry you." Ash smiles.

I notice, that she's not being her usual self. This is no nerd. This is a nice girl. She's usually always quick to spew out some insults on my attitude or on my hair or something. She hasn't done it for a while now and this is my first time ever seeing her smile.

"Hey, what time is it?" I question, looking up at the ceiling then back down at her.
"It's going on two, why?" She questions, checking her phone.
My Brain gives out and I fall back into the fluffy couch, Which surprisingly wasn't already occupied by some people making out, "Can you end the party for me?" I question, snuggling up in my jacket. I'll just ignore my feelings for now.

"...Yeah I guess.." Ash mumbles.
