CHAPTER 2 HUNTED

                Barry's pov

After mine and Kate's dual jason tried attacking me but Diane made him promise to not attack me

So we were sitting around the campfire I was sitting by Kate and Diane and jason were across from me jason having a look of grudging respect and Diane looked at me weirdly 

"I will do first watch,you all should get some sleep" I said jason said "no I don't trus-'' you don't trust anyone except you're sister and merideth" "hey how did you know that" "oh shut up all you do Is whine like a little girl, no thats an insult to little girls'' "those are fighting words" "good luck with that" I said we both launched to our feet and Kate blocked me and Diane blocked jason Kate looked at me and had a pleading look in her eyes and says "barry don't do this please"

As we were done talking we were suddenly surrounded by an army of lessathai. I quickly grabbed my swords and slashed both swords in a upward motion killing one lessathi 10 daggers took out another 150 there were 10,000 we fought hard my daggers taking out 5,000 and I could only do not think duck slash roll parrie slash slash duck roll slash it was down to 2400 and jason got injured by a sword and Diane rushed to defend him and 2,398 went at Diane and jason while a battle hardened warrior with a sword and a hood with a skull bandanna on came at my he was skilled I'll say that much I managed to disarm him and trip and as I'm bring my sword down on him at the last minute he rolled and tripped me and we get up at the same time and we both have no wepons in our hand so he jabbs at me I blocked and countered it knee'd him in the stomach uppercuted him braking his nose and and I summoned my scythe and Impaled him with it

The army has been thinned to 1500 when Diane got overwhelmed and knocked out and while I took out the lone  warrior Kate rushed to defend Diane and a single lessathai got lucky enough to slice Kate in her stomach mortally wounded she falls to her knees I telported to her and parried the lessathi next strike and incinerate 500 simultaneously killing the lessathai that injured Kate with my dagger making the number 998 and I froze time and killed another 500 unfrozen time and had my daggers finish them off.

I then look at Kate wounded it was on stomach leading up to her chest and began taking her shirt off she feeble tries to push me away saying "I never let a guy take off my clothes on a first date" I continue to take her shirt off and Diane wakes up and fires a lighting bolt at me yelling " don't you dare take advantage of her" I put my hand out and absorb the lighting bolt I then pause time and I calmly stated "while you were knocked out Kate was defending you and jason, a lessathi got lucky and sliced her stomach and up to her chest, I would never take advantage of Kate like that" I said growling the last part

I then unpaused time and began healing Kate and after a half hour Kate started Breathing as her eyes opened

I kissed her with tears in my eyes I cried into her shoulder whispering  "I thought I lost you'' she said "I'm fine thanks to you barry" after an hour of fussing over Kate I went to grabb my swords and I squatted to pick them up and I put them in my scabbards jason and Kate took over for first shift I went into my tent  I set up I had my enchanted backpack from daren a long while ago

    I fall asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

           Flashback

  I was walking through the woods when I heard a battle a thug beating up a older guy in his late thirties and I quickly hid behind a tree but they both sense I'm there the thug says "well we got a stillwater eh, show yourself"  I do I demanded he leave he said "yeah whatever once I finish off this weakling" "no you leave now" your gonna defend this weakling" if I have to do I have to" I asked he walked away saying "this ain't the Last you've seen of cutthroat Dave" daren says "you saved my life even though you didn't have to I pledge to protect this person until this tournament is over" "What's your name" daren asks me "my names barry" I reply "is there something your meaning to tell me Barry" "I'm not really a stillwater" "then why are you here" he asks "the same as you the magnium" "your gonna have come up with a better lie than that" then he looks into my eyes then says "by the gods your serious, Barry I admire your determination but you don't expect to win this tournament by bluffing do you" but we were interrupted by a young woman with dark brown hair and a pretty face and jeans and a simple t-shirt and boots with a strong aura coming off her. Daren said barry "stay here that's a banshee I going to go purify her I said "wait that's not a banshee" ''and how would you know, have you ever seen a banshee" "no I haven't" he admitted "then how would you know that she is a banshee" "woman can't be mages barry it's just not possible" "just trust me on this ok"
