Tori's POV
11:30pm
Still nothing, every once and while Brittany would check up on Clouds but no changes were shown. Until Clouds finally woke up.
"guys?" Clouds said, her voice sounded drowsy and dried
"Clouds!" I ran up to her side and helped her sit up on the bed
Brittany walked up and checked her to see if she really was okay, "how you feeling?" she asked
"drowsy, and still a bit dizzy.." Brittany nodded and helped her stand up slowly
"you will be like that for a while, the medications will wear off in an hour or so."
Sam stood up from his seat and faced Clouds, "how is he?" Clouds said, clear fear showing in her eyes
Brittany stepped back and I made eye contact with Becca, she signaled me no and I nodded fiddling with my fingers
"is- is he d-" Clouds stuttered
"no, well I'm not really sure, they haven't called and neither has his family.." Sam sighed and flipping his hair
"Sam, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault and-" I cut her off not bearing to hear the rest
"None of this is your fault, don't ever think that. This happened but it's in the past, we need to keep going." I placed my hand on her shoulder in reassurance
She sighed sadly and placed her hands on her face, her blonde hair covered the sides of her face and the room once again was quiet. After a few minutes you could hear her soft sobs as she tried to hold them in.
"I lost Brady, Lillian, and my family, I don't want to lose the one person who really cared for me." I got confused as she said she had lost her family. Her sobs filled the air and that's when Becca walked up and hugged her
"look, I'm not good at this kind of stuff but, what happened to your family?" Becca asked
Clouds began to tell us the whole story of what happened from when she went to her father's and until she came back to the school and told Edward off. I was surprised that she was able to hold this in.
She even told us when she had went to Chandler's room and went into the bathroom to see if he left anything to tell her where he was.
"And th-they just b-beat him and- and I just-" she cried into Beccas chest and told us everything that happened
"I saw the paramedics and ran to me and Chandler's dorm and when I saw him, it was a mess. Things were all over the place, Clouds was next to him and, god.. the b-blood, I haven't seen that much since..my accident.." Sam explained
"Sam..you have to drive us there..to the hospital..please I need to see him!" Clouds cried
Sam was stunned at what she had just asked him to do, "no no I can't, after her I swore to never drive again..I can't risk hurting you or our friends."
Cloud's POV
I let go of beccas arms and hugged Sam wrapping my arms around his chest. "please, I need to see him. your his best friend!" I cried
I needed to see him, after all we said to each other and after all I saw and after all we went through I need to see him.
"no, Clouds I'm sorry but-" Sam stopped and looked me in the eyes, he kissed the top of my head and mumbled okay.
I slightly smiled and tried to walk over to my bed to grab my bag, I stumbled a bit but Brittany helped me up. "I need to call Grayson. Chandler's younger brother, maybe he knows something." I announced
"Come one guys, let's go start up the car." Sam said
"car? I thought dad took it away." Brittany questioned
"yeah well, he said it was for emergencies only, this is an emergency..come on and don't forget your medicine." Sam said in response, I looked at them and wanted to cry and curl into a ball, me and my sister, we aren't even real sisters and I just. I just can't believe my whole childhood was a lie. I might even be a lie.
h-hello?
gray? it's... Clouds..
Silence, you could hear light talking in the background and then William came on the phone
Claudia? I haven't heard of you in..years..
I know, I'm sorry about that but are you guys..at the hospital?
*sigh* yeah, have been for almost 8 hours..how do you know we're here?
I was there, I saw It all happen..I'm heading over there
no Clouds, I'm sorry but no. If your saying your the reason my son was almost beaten to death I can't allow you to come here.
I gasped, William was never like this towards me but I understand why he must hate me, it was my fault that this happened and I would hate my self too.
please William, I'm going there and I'm going to stay there for who cares how long it takes until Chandler wakes up. And if he... passes.. I want to be there when it happens..so I can say goodbye
I took the phone away from my ear and slowly breathed in and out, trying to hold in my tears.
okay..
I ended the call and followed my friends to the car.
I'm going to see my love die right in front of my eyes, and I can't do anything about it.
