Alexander's pov.

Huh.

I just moved from the Caribbean to New York because of some essays I wrote. I got adopted by a family that goes by the Washingtons and have a cool brother that goes by Lafayette.

He tought me French so that's pretty neat.

There's only one problem at the moment though.

I'm going to a public school.

I have been homeschooled for a long time so I have never been to a public school and I have no idea what to do. Laf already gave me a tour around the school since Washington is a teacher there. That helped alot.

Apparently I'm not the only new student in our grade though. One of Lafayette's friends said their neighbor might be new and looks about our age.

Maybe we can be friends?

I dunno.

"Alex?" Laf called from his room down the hall.

"Yeah?" I replied then started walking towards his room.

"I need to tell you something.." He said nervously. Huh strange he is never the nervous one.

"Ok..what is it?" I said then entered his room and sat down on the edge of his bed.

He took a deep then said "I'm pansexual.."

"That's- that's amazing Laf!" I exclaimed then hugged him.

"Your not..disgusted?" He asked confused.

"Of course not! In fact I should probably tell you this but I'm pretty sure I'm Bisexual because I saw this guy the other say and dayummm he was fine." I said

Lafayette laughed then said "well since you accept me for who I am now is a good time to tell you that I also have a boyfriend."

"You do!? Congratulations! Who is it!? I must know the answer to these important questions!" I yell.

"Well Mon ami, his name is Hercules- wait-! I have already told you about him! He's the same guy I have been friends with since third grade." He exclaimed.

"Wait that guy!? Yess I knew it! I had a feeling something was going to happen between you two! I'm so proud of you Laf! Did you tell da- I mean Washington yet?" I say hoping he doesn't notice my correction.

"Aw thank you and yep! He says I can love whoever I want as long as they love me back and take good care of me." He says then smiles.

"Anyways... Enough about me how are you enjoying New York so far?"

"Its amazing! I'm still really nervous for my first day of school though." I say then fiddle with my fingers.

"Don't worry about it! You'll be fine everyone is pretty chill as soon as you meet my friends you'll feel better trust me."

Eliza's pov.

"Everyone I'm home!" I yell from the front door.

"What took you so long?" My oldest sister Angelica asked.

"Oh- I met this guy at the store he's really nice he's one of the new students at our school." I explained

"He didn't try anything on you did he?" She asked then raised and eyebrow while crossing her arms.

"Oh no of course not! My gaydar almost exploded I'm pretty sure he is gay. Oh! Here this might help you- he's the same guy that we saw the other day, our new neighbor." I said then rubbed the back of my neck.

"Oooh th-" Angie said before she got cut off by Peggy.

"I HEARD GAY SPILL THE DRAMA. WHEN, WHAT, WHO, WHERE, AND HOW?" She practically screamed while she ran down the stairs from her room.

I sighed then said "here I'll just explain the whole story."

"Huh he sounds like a cool guy, I can't wait to meet him!" Peggy exclaims.

"Same." Angelica says then takes a sip of her tea.

"Welp school starts next week so I'm gonna go organize all my supplies then we should watch a movie or something." I say then walk upstairs.
