•Chapter 2•
Annie's pov:
When I finally got home and walked into the house the first thing I saw was my little sister Hayley. Hayley was now 15 years old and a freshman in high school. She was sitting at the kitchen table eating a bowl of watermelon.
(H= Hayley A= Annie)
A - Hey Hay
H - Hey Annie what's up?
A - Nothing just nervous about graduation tomorrow.
H - Whats there to be nervous about? All you do is wear a fancy robe with a hat, walk across stage, smile, get your diploma, and walk away. Easy!!
A - yeah but what if something bad goes wrong?
H - Like what?
A - I could trip, break an ankle, embarrass myself.
H - Annie you need to be more positive *takes a bite of her watermelon * like me!
A - *laughs* oh yeah because your just full of positivity Hayley.
H - that's right!
Me and Hayley both laugh. I grab a price of watermelon out of Hayley's bowl and put it into my mouth.
H - Hey *Hayley said covering her bowl of watermelon * get your own watermelon.
I shrugged my shoulder then both our mom and dad walks into the room carrying a bunch of stuff.
(K= Katie B= Billy)
K - oh good your both home!
Katie and Billy sits everything on the couch.
H - what's all that stuff for?
B - come into the living room and see for yourself.
Me and Hayley both walk into the living room. Mom hands me a black robe and hat.
K - here is your robe and hat for graduation tomorrow.
A - thanks mom.
*** After everything was put away we all sat on the couch, ate dinner, and hung out as a family. We watched a movie called the kissing booth, one of our most favorite movies. Then it was time for bed.
(Hayley's POV}
After I got ready for bed and brushed my teeth we all said good night to each other. I went to my room, closed the door and climbed into bed. I thought to myself: 'I just can't believe that Annie's graduating tomorrow, then she's going to college all The way in Arizona....' Hayley laid down in her bed, her eyes began to water.
