Chapter 16

Annie's Pov 

I got up from the table and looked through the peep hole to see Johnny standing there waiting. I sighed and opened the door. 

"What do you want?" I asked in a annoyed voice. 

"I just wanna apologize." Johnny said. 

Carson walked up behind me and opened the door wider so he could stand next to me in the doorway "Okay?" 

"I'm sorry." Johnny said. 

"Okay cool now leave." Carson said.

Johnny looks at Carson then at me "Let me take you out for coffee to explain Annie." 

"Not sure if that's such a good idea." I said. 

"Please Annie." Johnny said giving me pleading eyes. 

I looked at Carson. 

"Okay." Carson said grabbing the keys off of the small round table in the hallway. "Get dressed Annie I'll drive." 

I hurried into the bathroom and got dressed I put on a black pair of leggings, a white t shirt, white converse and then I put on a soft gray hoodie. I brushed my hair getting some of the tangles out. As I as about to leave the bathroom Carson walks in. 

"You do know you don't have to come with us right?" I said. 

"Yes I do know that I just don't trust him alone with you." Carsom said. 

"Okay then lets go."

We all three got in Carson's car. Carson drove us to a cute little coffee shop. We went inside. I ordered a bagel with a cafe mocha, Johnny ordered a black coffee and Carson didn't get anything. We found a table in the back and sat down. 

"So lets cut to the chase." Carson said "What do you have to say." 

"Well you didn't have to come this was just suppose to be between me and Annie." 

"Guy can we please not fight." I said. "Johnny start talking."  

"I was drunk." Johnny began. 

Carson smirks "Thanks for stating the obvious." 

Johnny looks over at Carson "if your so overprotective of her then why was she alone in the first place." 

"Okay so explain the whole Kenzie rescuing you." Carson said. 

"Why are you getting jealous." Johnny asked. 

Carson scoffs and crossed his arms acrossed his chest "no." 

Johnny then looks over at me "All the stuff I did last night it was all a mistake and I promise it won't happen again." 

"Okay." I got up. 

Carson looked up at me "Where are you going?" 

I looked at Johnny "Johnny I forgive you." 

I then looked at Carson "Can we leave now?" 

"Yea." 

We paid and then left. When we got back to the dorms Johnny left so it was back to just me and Carson. We sat down on the couch and was watching a movie. Carson's hand was on my thigh. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I needed to tell Carson before I explode. 

"Carson?! Pause the movie." I said. 

Carson grabs the remote and pauses the movie "What's wrong?'  

"I have something I really need to tell you." I said. 

"Okay." Carson said. 

I stood up and began to pace around the room "I've been wanting to tell you last night but I chickened out -" 

Carson walks up to me and pulls me close "Just tell me Annie." 

"I love you."
