Annie's pov
2 weeks later
"Annie isn't this cute?" Jayden asked.
I look over to see Jayden holding up a neon orange t shirt.
"Looks good." I said with a smile.
"Okay." She replied.
Jayden looks through the racks of clothes and pulls out a neon pink crop t shirt and holds it up to me.
" I think this would look good on you." Jayden said.
I took the top from Jayden and smiled, "Thanks."
"Now," Jayden said "Let's go find some leggings."
Tomorrow was wear neon day at the college. I came unprepared and I didn't pack any neon clothes but lucky I wasn't the only one either. Because Jayden called me worrying about not having any either so we both agreed to go shopping together. As we found outfits we both headed back to my dorm room. Carson was gone on a field trip for his chemistry class and wouldn't be back for a couple of days so I had Jayden to keep me company. We were back at my dorm room sitting on the couch eating chips.
"So have you talked to Carson since he's been gone?" Jayden asked.
"Yea here and there." I said,
Jayden nods and looks back at her phone and puts a chip in her mouth.
"Have you heard anything from Mads? I asked.
"She's still torn up about Indi." She said.
" Yea," I said looking down at my shoes "we all are."
There was someone knocking at the door.
"I got it." I said standing up and opening the front door.
I answered the door.
"Oh my gosh," I said.
