Annies Pov //
I couldn't believe who was right in front of me.
"Kenzie?" I said surprised. She goes to this college too?!
"Annie?" Kenzie said giving me a dirty look. "What are you doing here in Carson's dorm room?"
I wasn't really sure what to say to make her not look at me the way she was now. But what was I supposed to do lie? Me and Kenzie never got along in high school, we we're sworn enemies, why? You might ask, that's a whole other story.
"Um," I said looking at Carson who was looking down at the ground. Well he isn't gonna be very helpfully this situation, might as well tell the truth. "I'm his new roommate."
Kenzie looks past me and at Carson "baby is this true?"
Baby? I thought to myself. This hit me hard, like I just got the breathe knocked out of me. Tears were coming but I needed to be strong and not show emotion.
"You guys are still dating?" I asked trying to hide the cracks in my voice. I looked back at Carson who was just staring at me his face had no expression. I then looked at Kenzie who just smirked at me like this was some joke.
I looked back at Carson who was about to say something.
"Of course we are!" Kenzie interrupted.
I waited for Carson to say something, maybe for Carson to deny it, so I could feel a little bit better, but he didn't, he just stood there looking at me and Kenzie.
"I'll give you to some privacy," I turned around and grabbed my jacket I saw Carson take a few steps toward me but I don't stop. I pushed pass Kenzie not caring if she got mad and walked out.
