Chapter 11

Annies Pov //

When I got back to my dorm room I saw Carson sitting on the couch, his head in his hands. I slowly walked up to him.

"Can I sit?" I asked pointing at the empty cushion.

He nodded "yea."

I sat down next to Carson, there was one question still stuck on my mind that I wanted to ask "are you and Kenzie still dating?"

Carson sighs "no"

I looked at him confused "but she said you guys are dating?"

"She lord I don't wanna date her anymore."

"Why what happened?" I asked.

"She cheated on me," He said taking a tissue and blowing his nose.

"Oh?" I said kinda relieved. "So is she mad that I'm your roommate?"

Carson stops blowing his nose walking over to the trash bin and throwing the now used tissue into the trash "I wouldn't say she's mad, jealousy is more like it."

"Wow she's jealous of me?" I asked sarcastically "that's a first."

Carson laughs.

"So let's change the subject." I said not wanting to talk about the girl who was now supposedly jealous of me.

"Ok," He said sitting back down on the couch next to me.

"So do you want me to be your roommate, if not I can move out?" I asked. I was kinda worried he would say no.

"I don't care that your my roommate I'm actually kinda happy that you are my roomie!" Carson said.

"You are? Why?" I asked.

Carson smirks "it gets pretty lonely here all by myself, especially during the nighttime." He winks.

I roll my eyes, but inside my heart melted when he winked at me. It was kinda cute.

"So what do you do around here for fun?" I asked.

"Well we have a party going on tonight to welcome new people like you to the college." He said.

"Is it formal?"

"Nope you can wear whatever you want." He explains.

"Ok," I stand up and head to the closet.

"Are you going?" Carson asked watching me walk to my closet.

"I guess so," I said.

I mean I was kinda bored so why not go out and have some fun on the first night.

Carson stands up walking up behind me. I turned around. He was staring into my eyes he looked nervous for some reason.

"Would you maybe wanna go with me?"  Carson asked.

"You mean as a date?" I asked.

"Nah just as friends, taking it slow," Carson said. He then smiled at me "unless you want it to be a date."

I thought to myself : well it would be a lot of fun and I wouldn't be alone if Carson came too?!.
