Chapter 4

Annie's POV //

Everyone gets in the car and starts to drive to graduation when Annie's phone goes off, she reads the text:

Jacy 💜 : Hey Annie I need your help 😞
Annie : Sure, Jacy what's up?
Jacy 💜 : Do you think your parents can pick me up and take me to graduation?
Annie : of course we're on our way.

On our way to graduation we picked up Jacy. She looked like she's been crying but I didn't wanna pry and be nosey. Once we made it to graduation a lot of people were already there. My mom, dad, and Hayley found seats, while me and the other graduates sat in the front row. Once it started they called each name one by one, finally it was Jacys turn, she walks across stage and gets her diploma. A few diplomas later it was my turn. Before I walked across stage I was nervous I felt nervous. I looked into the crowd and saw Hayley with a smile on her face, I slowly walked across stage to make sure I didn't trip or fall. The principal handed me my diploma, shook my hand and took a picture. An hour or so later it was finally over. We decided since in a couple of days I'll be off to college. Jacy was gonna stay the night because this will probable be the last time we'll get to see each other for awhile. Once we got back to the house me, Jacy, and Hayley decided to have the sleepover in my room.

"Okay guys what should we do first?" Jacy asked, "Face masks, pedicures, movies, scary stories-?"

"How about we just talk since this might be the last time any of us see each other for a while," Hayley said sadly.

"Aw Hay Hay I'm sorry I know it must suck that your the last one to go to college since ya know Caleb now Annie," Jacy said.

We never really talked to Caleb in a while it was kinda a sore subject for us. Caleb left for college a couple of years ago and we haven't talked since. I mean we've always tried to talk to him but he's just to busy to answer I guess, he said he would come visit when he gets the chance.

Hayley looks down sad "yea it'll be kinda hard and boring being alone now." Hayley said.

"I'll make sure to FaceTime you guys every night before bed," Annie said.

Hayley looks up with a smile on her face, "Really do you promise Annie?"

"Of course I promise Hayley!" Annie said.

Later in the night we painted our toenails, watched a movie, ate popcorn and candy. While we were watching a movie I looked over and saw Hayley asleep. Me and Jacy decided to turn off the tv, falling asleep next to Hayley.
