Chapter 13:
Annie's pov //
We got in the car and made it back home to our dorm room. I walked inside and laid down on my bed. Carson goes into the bathroom the comes back out with a first aid kit. I sit up and look at him. He doctors my cuts and bruises. When he's done he still has his hand in mine.
"Thank you," I said.
Carson continues to doctor my arm "for what?"
"For saving me from drunk Johnny. " I said watching him.
Carson smiles, "anything for you."
I look up at him and our eyes met. He leans in slowly and I felt myself beginning to do the same. Finally our lips met. After a few seconds we pull apart. Are faces still close together. We both smile.
" I think you should get some rest. " Carson said.
"Okay," I said.
Carson picks me up and lays me gently down in my bed and covers me up.
I yawned.
"Goodnight Annie." Carson said leaning down and kisses me on my forehead.
"Goodnight Carson."
