Chapter 5

Annie's POV //

*2 weeks later*

"Come on guys we have to be at the airport in 10 minutes!" My mom yelled.

Me and Hayley grabbed the last 2 boxes and put them into the truck of the car, we all got into the car and drove to the airport. I had mix feelings about going to college, sadness because I'll be leaving my family, excited because I'm going to college to become a doctor/nurse and also nervous because I'm gonna be new and not know anyone. Later on we finally made it to the airport, I grabbed my luggage and got my ticket. I said goodbye to my parents and Hayley then boarded the plane. When I got on I looked for a place to sit.

"Hey you can sit here if you want," said a boyish voice.

I look over to where o heard him and saw a boy sitting on a chair he had dark brown hair and had a big smile on his face.

I walked up to him and said "okay," sitting down in the empty chair next to him. I honestly wanted the window but I didn't wanna be rude. "My names Annie LeBlanc."

Johnny looks at me and smiles "Johnny Orlando, so where you headed too?"

"College," I said with a smile on my face. "The University of Arizona."

"Oh really? That's cool because that's where I'm headed too!" Johnny said.

"Really?!" I said happily. "Maybe we can be roommates!"

Johnny shakes his head, "sorry LeBlanc I already have a roommate." He said his smile disappears.

"Oh," I said looking down. "Who's your roommate?"

"Some guy named Kyle," Johnny said.

I look back up at him, "so you don't know who he is?"

Johnny shakes his head again. He puts on earbuds and listens to music, and I decide to do the same. Then later on we both drifted off to sleep.

*The next day*

"Annie, Annie wake up breakfast is here," Johnny said.

I slowly open my eyes "what?" I asked in a sleepy voice.

"Pancakes are here." Johnny said.

I look at the stack of pancakes in front of me. I look over and see Johnny stuffing his face full of pancakes. He looked like a little kid stuffing there face full of birthday cake.

"So how did you sleep?" Johnny asked in a muffled voice, considering he still had pancakes in his mouth.

"Well these chairs aren't very comfortable," I said.

Johnny laughs, "you got that right."

We continue to eat in silence, after we ate the plane finally landed. Me and Johnny got our luggage and walked to campus. When we got there we both were in aw.

"Wow this place is huge!" I said.

Johnny nodded, "well I'm gonna go look for my dorm, see you around LeBlanc." Johnny said walking off.

I waved goodbye to Johnny. I wasn't really sure where I was going so I decided to walk in the opposite direction. While I was walking I bummed into someone.

"Oh I'm sorry," I said nervously.

Great Annie way to make a first impression.

"No it's my fault." He looked at me and smiles, he took out his hand for me to shake.

"My names Matt Solo."

I shake his hand, "Annie LeBlanc."

"So I'm guessing your new?" He said while staring at my luggage.

"Is it that obvious?" I said with a small smile on my face.

Matt smiles ignoring my question, "Do you need help finding your dorm room?"

"Yes!" I said eagerly pulling out a piece of paper "I'm in room 403."

Matt's eyes get wide. I looked at him confused and thought, 'maybe he's my roommate?'

"Room 403, that's my best friends room!" Matt said.

"Oh?" I said, "what's his name?"

"Carson Lueders."
