Jisung sat in his first period class, bored out of his mind. Don't get him wrong, it wasn't the teacher who bores him. It was the subject.
Math, Jisung's nightmare.
He despised Math with every fibre of his being. Not only because he sucked at it, but because merely the sight of graphs and numbers made his head hurt.
His seat was in the very back to the left of the class. Right in the corner. Jisung assumed this was the perfect spot to fall asleep and go unnoticed. He wouldn't lie, he really wanted to lay his head down at the moment.
Jisung tapped his pencil against the desk as his teacher Mrs Yang, went on about the opening to their first lesson. Jisung rolled his eyes attempting to keep them open. Despite trying, they only felt heavier than before. Jisung knew he was dozing off, and it was only a matter of time before he passed out. Might as well make himself comfortable right?
He sighed and placed his head on the desk softly, careful not to make any loud noise. Instantly his whole body relaxed as he shut his eyes.
sleeeeeep, he thought.
Though, he was in an relatively uncomfortable position with his hands lazily hanging at his sides. To fix this he tried putting them in his lap, which just made it even more uncomfortable than before. Jisung grunted and then slipped his arms inside the desk. Weirdly, that was his best option in terms of comfort.
Normally students weren't aloud to use the insides of the desks for any personal items, so when Jisung's fingers brushed along a piece of paper his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He opened his eyes and dipped his head down to get a look in the desk. There in the very back, was a full piece of paper that appeared have been torn from a note book.
Now, Jisung has always been a naturally curious person. So due to that, he wasted no time in quickly pulling it out from the desk. Before he examined the paper he peeked toward Mrs Yang to make sure he wasn't looking her way. It would be pretty hard to convince her he wasn't passing notes in class.
Once he saw the coast was clear he looked down to the paper and first noticed the date at the top. On the first line it read;
it's only the first day back, and I already want to die.
Jisung let out a quiet snort and nodded in agreement with whom ever had left the note. Though it wasn't the first day, it was the second. Assuming who ever left this here shares the same desk as him, he decided to leave a reply. Not that this person was expecting one, he just thought maybe it be funny.
um you're wrong, it's the second day.
and with that, he placed the paper back inside the desk.
