Charlie took Kate to a hospital. Upon getting there, Kate was immediately taken for a few tests so they could see what was wrong with her. 30 minutes later...
Charlie's P.O.V
It has been half an hour since they took Kate. I'm starting to get worried. I was in the waiting area when the test room's door opened and Kate's doctor came outside. I stood up and said,
"What happened to her? "
"Oh it's okay. She's fine. We have done multiple tests and scans on her. There is nothing much to be worried about. 2 things happened at once. She fainted due to the dizziness she feels. The blood came out because , sometimes, vomiting too much scratches the esophagus and causes it to bleed slightly. Everything's okay. Just don't let her eat foods that are too spicy or acidic. If her throat or head hurts she, can have a painkiller. "
"Thanks..."
A few minutes later I saw Kate coming out of the Test Room on a wheel chair, a nurse pushing her outside. I ran up to her. She wasn't fully awake.
( Later at Kate's House)
Charlie's P.O.V
We were on the balcony as kate wanted to get some fresh air. We were about to go in as kate slipped suddenly but I caught her just in time. I looked at her when she was in my arms. I looked deep into her eyes. Her skin glistened in the moonlight. Our faces were inches away but I stepped back. What was I doing? She is my best friend, I can't think about her like this. I said,
"Umm. Are you okay? Did you hurt your self? "
Kate answered ,
"I'm fine. Don't worry."
We didn't talk after that, we just went to the room and fell asleep.
Kate's P.O.V
I didn't know if Charlie was awake or not. I dared not to turn around and check the mattress. I was looking up at the ceiling of my bedroom. The moment from the balcony crossed my mind. His gaze was so strong, his eyes were so deep... something in his eyes pulled me towards him. I suddenly realized what I was thinking about. We are just best friends. Nothing more,... right? I turned and now my back was to Charlie who was sleeping on the floor. I heard someone get up and sit beside me. I pretended to be asleep. I felt Charlie tuck the hair covering my face behind my ear. His fingers traced my jawline and went down to my chin. He put the blanket on me as it was getting cold and before going back to sleep, he gently kissed my hand and then, he went back to sleep. I was confused.. what was this all about. I realized it was very late. So, I cleared my mind and dozed off to sleep.
