Kate's P.O.V I was asleep when I felt Charlie hug me from behind. I turned my neck around and smiled at him. He was half asleep as he said, "Good back to sleep honey."
I turned back and slowly fell asleep. I was woken up again as I felt Charlie planting wet kisses down my neck. I turned to him and put my lips on his soft lips, yearning for mine. He slightly bit my lower lip and I smiled in the kiss while his hands roamed all around my body. He picked me up and put me in his place. He moved so now, he was hovering over me, his weight on his elbows. He looked deep into my eyes before he put his lips back onto mine. He broke the kiss as he quickly took his shirt off, exposing his well built body. We had promised that we won't have sex before marriage but I guess we can't keep that promise anymore. It was happening. He moved his elbows as I think he got tired and continued kissing me. But I think I was wrong that this was going to happen because we were interrupted by the door opening and Camilla running in, terrified and worried. She said, "Sorry guys. We don't have any time for this."As she tossed Charlie's shirt at him.
I quickly changed into proper clothes and we all got in Camilla's car and left.
(In the car)
Charlie's P.O.V Camilla was driving full speed. Her eyes were very watery. Kate said, "Camilla drive slowly. You have to calm down and tell us what happened."
Camilla took a deep breath. Her eyes looked like they were fighting back a million tears which were about to pour out. She said her voice shaky and hoarse, "Shawn had an accident, they just called me 5 minutes ago. I quickly came to pick you guys up-" Camilla failed in keeping the tears away as the poured out of her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. She continued, "What if I'm too late? What if shawn leaves me forever....?"
Kate patted her back and said, "Hey, it's Shawn we're talking about here, he'll never leave you alone. Now, let's focus on driving and getting to Shawn, okay?"
Camilla nodded and wiped away her tears. In about 5 minutes, we reached the hospital were shawn was. Camilla ran to the receptionist and asked, "Where is shawn, shawn mendes? "
"Oh, he was brought to the Emergency Room bu-" She was interrupted by Camilla, "Okay thanks. "
Camilla rushed to the Emergency Room and started opening the curtains of all the compartments. When she didn't find shawn anywhere, she fell to her knees and buried her head in her hands. She was continuesly muttering, "I'm too late, I've lost shawn, forever....."
Kate went to the nurse in charge of the ward and asked, "Excuse me, do you know where Mr.Mendes is?"
"Yes, they just took him to the doctor's room a few minutes ago."
"Thank you." Kate replied and helped Camilla up.
We all went to the doctor's room. Camilla hesitated a bit before finally opening the door. Shawn was sitting there, getting his arm bandaged by a nurse. Camilla ran upto him and said, "Shawn you scared me so much!I love you muffin." She hugged him and they kissed. As soon as they broke the kiss Camilla noticed shawn's arm . She said, "Oh my God! What happened to your arm?"
"It's just a little bruise honey. I'm fine. I promise Camz. " Shawn answered.
Camilla took shawn home and me and Charlie called our driver.
(On the way back in Charlie's car)
Kate's P.O.V The compartment was closed and Charlie was very quite. I thought a little before saying, "Charlie, I think your mom is right. We should wait, I mean every time we try and take a step, we fail in one way or the other. We should just wait till after the wedding right?"
"To be honest, I low key think that's extremely true. We should wait a little. I mean it's just 2 months, right? "
I nodded and kissed his cheek, making him smile. In about a few minutes, we reached back home.
We had just settled down when Charlie's phone started ringing. We were watching a movie, so I paused it as Charlie picked up the phone. He talked to the caller for a while before hanging up. He said to me, "Hey Kate, can you do me a little favour?"
"Ofcourse, what happened?" I said.
"You know James (James cordon) , he wants us on his show tonight. It begins in 1 and a half hour. I mean the set is 45 minutes away. He wants both of us to come. So, will you come with me?" He said, nervously.
"Ofcourse I will Charlie, so I should go get ready?" I said.
"Yeah! Ofcourse." He said happily.
I was about to leave but I turned around and said, "I'm choosing what you're wearing."
"Ofcourse you will kate" He laughed.
I smiled and went to the elevator, down to my wardrobe. I couldn't help but grin as I took out a navy blue tuxedo I had bought for Charlie earlier. It was a surprise for him, I wanted him to wear it when we go to an interview or show tohether as fiancès for the first time. I picked out a black tube dress for myself. I went upstairs to Charlie's room, he was still in the shower so, I laid his clothes out on his bed. I then went to my room, put my clothes on the bed and went to take a shower.
Charlie's P.O.V I came out of the shower and saw a brand new navy blue tuxedo on the bed. Kate got me a gift! I really liked it. I quickly put it on, it fit perfectly and the color looks really nice on me. I too, had gotten something for Kate. I took out the navy blue off-the-shoulder tube dress I had got her along with the navy stilletos which were studded with crystals, from my closet (I had been hiding it there). I went to her room, she was still in the shower. I took the black dress and shoes and replaced them with the clothes I brought her. I then silently tiptoed out of her room.
Kate's P.O.V I got out of the shower and went to my bedroom. To my surprise, my black dress wasn't there anymore. Instead, there was a beautiful navy blue dress. I looked to the floor and a white shoebox was there. I opened it to reveal beautifully encrusted heels. Charlie's such a sweetheart. I smiled and put on the dress and shoes. It for perfectly and the color complemented the color of my skin. I had just finished doing my makeup when the door opened and Charlie walked in, looking handsome as always, he looked really nice! I smiled. He said, "You look beautiful."
I could feel my cheeks heating up, I replied, "Thanks, you look great."
He planted a brief gentle yet passionate kiss on my lips. I smiled. He said, "But some thing's missing."
"What's missing ,darling?" I asked him.
He looked up at the ceiling trying not to laugh and hide something. He revealed a box from behind his back and opened it. It was a 4 rowed diamond choker (image below)

He said, "This, this is missing. Turn around."
I smiled and turned around as he put my hair up, revealing my neck. He put the necklace on and closed it. I turned back to him and kissed him. He smiled and said, "Let's go, we're getting late."
