Kate's P.O.V
I woke up in Charlie's lap, I instantly recognized where I was, I was in the break room.
Charlie kissed me and said, "You should go back to surgery now"
"Ok fine " I said and got up.
"Bye" he smiled and I waved back, weakly, not wanting to leave him.

Kate's P.O.V
I went to the lockers and changed into new clothes, I didn't want to stay at the hospital now so I started gathering my important things. Neil knocked my office door and came in.
"You're leaving?" He asked, slightly shocked.
"I don't feel so well. You and Lim can go home too. Ask another surgeon to look after the patient, call me of something goes wrong " I said grabbing the last of my belongings and leaving the office.
I drove back home, it was morning and it was very bright outside. I quietly opened the door, half expecting Charlie to be asleep and well, he was asleep. I went to his room where he lay alone. I laid down beside him and said,
"I missed you Charlie. "
He slowly woke up and turned to me, surprised and happy.
"I missed you too Kate! " he said and pulled me in for a kiss.
"Can we sleep now? I missed sleeping without you. " he said.
"Me too" I said, burying my head in his chest and inhaling his beautiful scent that I missed.
"Get rid of the shirt, it's hot today. " he said and I smiled knowing it wasn't that hot. I took of my shirt and was now only in my camisole and trousers. I snuggled up beside him and soon as both drifted off to sleep.

Kate's P.O.V
Me and Charlie spent the next couple of days going around town, eating and often stayed late at his studio, it was fun there. It was noon and the weather was pleasant, it was sunny. Me and Charlie were at a restaurant and were waiting for the pizza to come.
"You know how pretty you are? " he asked looking at me affectionately.
"No, you never told me " I smiled as I teased him.
"You're adorable " he smiled and put his hand on my cheek.
"Do you how adorable you are? " I asked, holding his hand.
"No, you never told me " he grinned as he mimicked me. I started laughing and kissed his cheek. I was pretty sure that almost everyone in the restaurant was staring at us.
"So, what're we going to do after this?" I asked.
"I don't plan on going to the studio. You?" He asked.
"I don't have much to do. " I said.
"I was thinking, how about we go visit your hospital? I could pay a surprise visit to some patients there. It always warms my heart when I see their faces light up like that. " he said, oh Lord, he's such a pure soul.
"Oh ofcourse! You have such a pure and beautiful heart." I smiled at him.
"Great!" He said.
The waiter soon brought us our pizza, which ofcourse tasted delicious.
"This pizza tasted beautiful " Charlie said as we shared the last slice.
"Beautiful?! " I laughed.
"Making pizza is a work of art, not only do all these pizzas look beautiful, they taste beautiful! The cheese, the dough, the pepperoni, everything tastes like beauty, pure beauty. " Charlie expressed his love for pizza, which I must say, was very well said.
"I understand. Very well said" I said smiling. I was sure I heard and saw some girls laugh and swoon over Charlie from the table behind us. I'll admit it I was jealous.
To be honest, I heard some talk bad about me too.
"She doesn't deserve him. I still think she faked that accident. " I heard one say, Charlie could probably not hear them since they were sitting behind my chair, opposite to his.
"Honestly, I think this is all a publicity stunt. " another said but one shut him up,
"Charlie would never do that. I think she's just playing around with him, I don't think he loves her. I don't think they'll last. It's only been a year I think and they're getting married."
"I think it's not for publicity but for something else. What if he still isnt sure about marrying her?" Another said.
I felt bad and jealous. It got worse when one of them walked up to our table and asked for a selfie. Charlie, being the pure hearted soul he is, accepted. While they were taking the selfie, the girl was being a little too physical and touchy.
As soon as she took the photo and thanked Charlie, I didn't even wait for her to leave, I abruptly pulled Charlie in for a kiss, he was surprised at first but in only a second, he was kissing me back, deep and passionately. I forgot about everything going on, it was as if me and Charlie were in our own little world, just me , charlie and our love. The kiss would have lasted atleast a minute or two and me and Charlie broke it to breathe. The girl was still standing here, surprised and probably jealous.
"I love you " he whispered, our faces still close to each other's.
"I love you too " I smiled back.
The girl stormed off to her table and me and Charlie left after he paid the bill.
We were in his car, on our way to the hospital when Charlie asked,
"Why did you kiss me at the restaurant? It's not that I didn't like it, I loved it!"
"I. I was jealous. " I blurted out as I melted into my seat. Charlie abruptly stopped the car.
"What?! Why? " he asked.
"These girls, they were saying really bad stuff about me, like I didn't deserve to be with you. " I said and realised that might be true since I was just a normal person who had found someone as amazing as Charlie. " And one of them came to you and asked for a selfie, which is fine but she was touching you too much. Charlie, I can't talk to you about this, I sound so greedy. You can do whatever you want, I'm sorry. I have to go Charlie " I said.
"What no, listen. " he said but I was already thinking about so many different things of how the girls were right.
I was taking off my seatbelt when Charlie grabbed my arms. "I'm happy that you kissed me. It wasn't greedy of you, I had no idea how you felt. We belong to each other, I am yours, I can't live without you. It wasn't greedy of you. I swear " he said as he looked deep into my eyes and then out of nowhere, he pressed his lips hard against mine.
I wish we stay like this forever, whenever he holds me, I feel like all the worries are gone. I smiled as the kiss came to an end and then Charlie continued to drive.
A/n hey guys! I have decided that instead of putting the book on hold, I'll update it whenever I'm free and I can find time. I can't actually live without writing, my daily life feels incomplete so I'm not putting the book on hold. But this does mean that my updates might not be regular, they'll be really random.
