Charlie's P.O.V
A few minutes later, we were standing at the entrance when Selena walked in.
"Hi!" She said and shook hands with Kate and me.
"Hi" I smiled awkwardly.
"I'm glad you came selena " Kate smiled at her.
She met with Camilla and Mikaela, she then went and sat down to on her seat. Good work Charlie, it didn't get too awkward. I mean, we dated for a very short time, I wrote a song about it. But I got over everything, I don't have any feelings for her, that's for sure. But still, meeting up with your ex who has also been a great friend is awkward. Very awkward.
A few minutes later, all the guests started pouring in. Well, literally. One after the other, we greeted them. The place was full in just a few minutes. Everyone came. There weren't any men though, the only boys were me and some children. We soon started playing the games. For the first game, the seats were arranged put in front of a long table.
"So the first game were going to play is Pass the Love Story. It's simple. Someone will write a few short sentences on the beginning of Kate's and Charlie's relationship. One by one, people will come and continue the story. Once everyone is done, Kate will read out the story. She and Charlie will then narrate the actual story which will lead to the next game. " mikaela said.
"Ok, so let's start with Ellen since she's one the first seat. " Camilla announced and gave Ellen the paper and a pen.
Kate's P.O.V
It took around 15 or 20 minutes till everyone was done. Camilla said as she handed me the paper,
"Here Kate, please read it out. "
I took the paper and started reading,
"It was the usual evening, both of the destined people were busy in their loves. One with a bitchy girlfriend" I smiled and continued,
"and the other with a tiresome job. Kate was stuck in traffic, munching on her donut when she felt something hit her from behind. Oh poor Charlie, got himself into an accident. Let's just say that Kate stayed in the hospital for the next few weeks, Charlie on the other hand was unharmed, physically unharmed that is. The poor boy must be feeling guilty. To make things up to his future wife, and for the sake of her health, our boy Charlie moved in with her. Now this children, is where the magic starts. Well you see, after a few days, Charlie must be realised (and so did Kate) that she is the perfect girl for him. They probably kissed and then, do I really have to tell you? You know that when two people love each other and kiss, they might end up in bed. A few months go by, with some encounters with the bitchy ex, Charlie decides he wants to propose to the girl he met through a car accident. Well she said yes and here we are now, they're getting married in a month. I can't predict the future but I know for sure, the world will be getting KARLIE babies. True love can start in the most unexpected ways. "
"Wow, that was... interesting" Charlie smiled.
"It was mostly true. " I smiled.
"Becky said she wanted me to come over immediately or else she would break up with me, her usual bitchyness (a/n: is that even a word? ) . Anyways, Kate was in the car in front of me. I was going too fast and couldn't hit the brake in time. My car hit Kate's and she was badly injured. I'm so sorry for that Kate. " Charlie said.
"It's ok" I smiled and said.
He smiled back and continued,
"She stayed in the hospital for a few weeks, she was unconscious for all those weeks until the last day. I moved in with her because the doctor said that someone needs to supervise and take care of her. I also wanted to make it up to her. Over the next few weeks, we got to know each other better and that's when I started liking her as more than a friend. She understood me like no one else could. "
"That's when I realised he is my best friend. That's how we were to each other, but deep down. I still wasn't sure if we were just friends. Atleast I hoped we were more than that. " I said.
"We still are best friends but we also love each other, now, back to our story. I fell in love with her. I kissed her when I was drunk once after a party, in my room. She wasn't drunk, I was.That was her first kiss. Ofcourse I have her a better first kiss later when I was back to my senses. We arent in a relationship. They were proper kisses, just in a friendly way. I mean, that's what we showed go each other. Deep down, we have them as kisses out of love. I hope all this is making sense to you. Anyways, when Kate was okay, we decided that maybe I should go back to my house. Neither of us wanted to part but we were scared that me not moving out was a sign that we had feelings for each other, and that was why we were scared to admit. Because we thought it would ruin our friendship. I tried visiting her after that but couldn't get time from all the work. " Charlie said and stopped for a while.
"Then, an accident happened to which made me realise that I should've never left her." Charlie said. The crowd turned a bit serious at hearing this. They all knew what had happened but they all never brought it up, I'm thankful to them for that but it is part of our story.
Charlie continued,
"I moved back in. We were slowly getting over it when we told each other about our feelings. And no, to whoever said we ended up in bed. We never had sex. "
At this, everyone smiled and Ellen said,
"Oh my religious little children "
We all laughed and then Charlie continued on our story,
"Soon enough, it was time I thought I should propose. We went to a fancy hotel which led to a beach. I proposed to her there. She was wearing red strappy velvet dress and red strappy heels. And here we are now."
"Aww! That was soo cute!" Ariana said.
There were more 'aww's coming from the crowd.
"Now we get to the second game. Kate and Charlie will question all of you about their story and you have to answer. Whoever's answer is correct, gets a gift. Whoever raises a hand first, answers first. But first,np there's refreshments being handed out. " mikaela announced.
We were all taking a little break when selena came to me and said,
"Hey, umm Kate. I have a little question. Is it okay if Austin comes along? We just started dating, it's ok if he can't though. "
"Ofcourse he can! The more the merrier! " I smiled.
"Thanks so much Kate!" Selena smiled.
"No problem, " I replied.
