Kate's P.O.V
I woke up a bit late today. I felt very tired, I had alot of work at the hospital yesterday. I could smell the mouth watering scent of pancakes coming from the kitchen. I got out of bed and went outside. Charlie heard me come. He said,
"Morning!"
I smiled and answered back,
"Morning! "
I looked at the pancakes that were already made. They looked perfect. I said,
"You've gotten real good at making pancakes."
"All thanks to your grandma's recipe." He smirked.
We giggled and after a while every thing was ready.
Charlie stuffed a large piece in his mouth and said,
"K-a-te."
I looked at him and said,
"Ewww. Take smaller bites. Yes? What were you going to say?"
"We're going to the studio today." He said as he swallowed the large bite.
"Oh really? That's really good."
" I know right? You can see the new song I'm working on."
"But I've already heard it. "
"How....?" Charlie looked at me ,confused.
I laughed and said,
"You're always beat boxing a new tune in your free time. I noticed you are developing one these days too."
"Hahaha. You know me too well." He replied, realising that.
We got ready and left. On the way, a question stuck me. I said,
"Charlie... why are we going to the studio. It's not that I want to but you usually work from your home studio. I mean the one in my home."
Charlie smiled and said,
"Isn't your home my home and my home yours?"
"Yes." I said as I too realized that.
He smiled and mumbled,
"I'd really like to live with you forever."
I totally understood what he said but I had to make sure that my ears weren't ringing. So, I said,
"Hmm? Did you say something?"
"Nope. Your ears are ringing , AGAIN."
He laughed. I smiled. It was only a matter of a few minutes until we were standing outside his studio. We walked in. We had just stepped in when charlie interwined his fingers with mine. I smiled and we walked to the room where he was developing his new song. He walked inside. Shawn was sitting there. I had met shawn mendes a few times before when me and Charlie spent a day with him. He waved hi to me and Charlie, he said,
"Hey guys. "
"Hi bro." Charlie answered and did a fist bump with shawn.
I smiled and said,
"Hi shawn." I gave him a high five. We were talking about how busy all of us had been when the door flung open and Camilla walked in. She said,
"Hey guys!" She hugged me and gave shawn and Charlie high fives.
All of us talked for a while and then shawn said,
"So, me and Camilla have some work to do, see you guys later." Shawn winked at Charlie. Charlie smiled. Camilla said bye and was about to leave when she stopped and whispered to me,
"Good luck." She smiled and went.
She always wanted me and Charlie to be together. She had even given Charlie a 1 hour long talk once that I was the right person for him. She said that Charlie didn't tell her his feelings for me and is keeping them top secret. She said that shawn knew something. I had already told her that I had feelings for Charlie and now she was working really hard to make things work between us.
Charlie said as he positioned himself in front of the mic,
"You still haven't heard the full song yet. So... You'll hear it today."
I smiled and sat on a stool right next to him.
He started singing his new song which he had named L.A Girls,
"....There was nikki, Nicole, Tiffany and Heather
But there's only room for you in my world....."
After he was done singing, he said,
"So, what do you think?"
"It's perfect!" I smiled. He has a beautiful voice. I asked,
"Who is this song for?"
He smiled and said,
"I can't tell you that now. I'll tell you when the time is right. "
"Okay!" I answered.
Charlie's P.O.V
Deep down I knew that this song was for her. I couldn't think of a life without her.
I smiled and said,
"Wanna sing with me?"
Kate's cheeks flushed. She said,
"I haven't sung in front of people since I was 5. I don't think my voice sounds that good-"
I interrupted her in the middle of her sentence and said,
"Oh come! I heard you sing "some type of love " when you were in the shower."
She looked up at me with her mouth open. She said,
"It's not nice!...listening to people singing the shower!"
She lightly slapped me on my shoulder. I laughed and said,
"Hey... I could hear you from your room! "
"WaiT...What were you doing in my room, in the first place?"
Kate said looking at me, confused. I had actually gone there to listen to her sing but I couldn't say that. So, I said,
"I-we-uhhh. Yes! My room was still renovating and I stayed in your room and I heard you sing uhh... when I woke up. Yes, when I woke up. But I don't really remember your voice, can we sing again?"
"Umm... okay. Only if you don't make fun of me."
"I love you the way you ar- I mean I promise I won't make fun of you."
I said, correcting myself. We started singing 'some type of love'. Kate has a beautiful voice. Our voices slowly harmonised, we were singing a lovely duet. This song expressed how much I loved kate. She meant everything to me. As the song slowly came to an end, I turned to kate, she looked deep into my eyes. Our faces were inches away, we both slowly leaned in. Our lips met, I slowly cupped Kate's cheek with one hand and put my other hand on her waist, pulling her further towards me. She put both her hands around my neck. The kiss was full of passion and very deep. I knew that kate loved me too as how she kissed me explained everything. But I was still very scared to admit my feelings. We were half way through our kiss when the door opened and Camilla walked in. She rolled her eyes and said,
"Oops. My bad. Catch ya later lovebirds." She turned around and left.
The kiss was over, obviously. Kate looked at me. Her cheeks were red.
I said,
"You have a beautiful voice."
"Thanks."She replied.
We were pretty much done recording the song so we decided to go.
We walked outside and ran into Camilla and shawn in the lobby.
Camilla's hair were slightly messed up and shawn was breathing heavily.
As soon as the two saw us enter, they moved a bit away and shawn said,
" Hey! When did you come here?"
"Just now?" I said confused.
Kate's P.O.V
I don't think that Charlie understood the situation but I really did. Camilla's eyes were shining and she couldn't stop grinning. She secretly liked Shawn. Did he confess his feelings for her? Shawn and Charlie were talking. Camilla nodded at me and winked.
Well, I guess that explains it all. After we said goodbye to Camilla and shawn, Charlie said we're going to visit Adam and Behati today. I had met them alot if times before with charlie but I still hadn't met their children. I loved children. I would love to have some of mine one day. In fact eversince I've met charlie, my only dream has been starting a family with him. I really loved him. He was kind, nice, he had a nice sense of humour and well, he understood me really well.
All these thoughts were crossing my mind as I realized we were there. Both of us stepped outside and went in. Adam was chasing Rose around the lounge while Behati was trying to put a spoonful of porridge into baby Geo's mouth. Adam said,
"Hey you two!"
Rose had now stopped running around and was peacefully eating a bar of chocolate .
"HI!" We answered. Adam gave shawn a hug while Behati stood up and hugged me. Geo was clinging to Behati. I shook hands with Geo. More like, she wrapped her hand around my finger and shook it. Rose was done eating her bar of chocolate . She came up to me and hugged me. She's a really friendly kid. I picked her up. We had a really nice time there. Rose told me all about her dollhouse. Geo has developed a liking towards Charlie and stayed with him the entire time we were there. We were talking about how nice and busy it was once Adam and Behati became parents. Behati said,
"As a matter of fact, you and Charlie look alot like a married couple. You two look nice together and you understand each other perfectly."
I could feel my cheeks heating up and Charlie was blushing, too. Both Adam and Behati spoke together,
"Hahaha. You two didn't say anything and you're blushing. Lovebirds!"
I don't know why but me and Charlie have acquired this title and to be honest, I really like it.
