Another Search Party (An Elsword Fanfic)

Chapter 11

Shiro-sama here sup dudes and dudets let's see what I can cook up in the kitchen

Kai zooms through the city on his dark chaser. "Crap, how many lives will be lost until I get there. I hope Kazumi can evacuate them in time." Kai thinks as he drifts around a corner. He follows the trail of destruction leading to Drakion. Kai shoots lasers at Drakion in the distance to grab Drakion's attention. In response, the obsidian dragon swings his tail causing Kai to jump off the motorcycle and draw his sword in mid-air. "Armageddon Blade 2.0!" Kai yells as a red lightning begins to engulf Kai's sword as he slams it down on the head of Drakion.

"Boy, you have the audacity to hit me?" Drakion says as he staggers back from Kai's blow.

Kai points his sword at Drakion and says, "I have reinforcements coming, surrender now or face my wrath." Then Drakion opens his mouth and releases a tunnel of fire which caused Kai to parry it with his Armageddon Blade.

Then Kai slashes down into Drakion's shoulder causing him to roar out in pain, "You brat! I will kill you!"

"You won't, you're not strong enough!" Kai exclaims in a manic tone. "What you don't know is that I trained my whole life to kill dragons. You don't even compare." Then Kai slashes Drakion upwards causing the dragon to fall flat on it's back. Kai gets ready to deliver the finishing blow until Drakion blast fire at a nearby civilian. Kai bolts over at lightning speed and uses his body to shield the attack. Then Drakion kicks Kai into one of the near building and sends a barrage of firebolts at Kai. Kai lies in the rubble half conscious but still gripping onto his sword.

Then out of nowhere, Azure yells, "Burning Punisher!" as multiple shots of magic bullets crash down into Drakion. Kai looks over to see everyone else rushing over.

Then Raiden makes whips of lightning and grabs the ankles of Drakion throwing him off of his feet Reya creates explosion runes under Drakion as he fell causing an explosion launching him into the air. Risui jumps up into the air as he punches down into the abdomen of Drakion slamming him back onto the ground. "You annoying children."

Drakion gets up and begins to roar savagely as he begins to exude dark energy. His eyes glow red as discharges a wave of dark energy blowing multiple buildings away just leaving a crater and the search party. Reya grabs Kai and gives him a red potion and a blue one. "What happened? What happened to the shopping district?" Kai yells as he regains consciousness.

Reya looks at Kai remorsefully and says, "Most of the people were evacuated by Kazumi but we still suffered some casualties."

Kai looks at the battle as the rest of the team is currently getting smacked around by powered up Drakion. He gets up as red lightning begins to surge in his body, then lightning begins to burst from Kai's body as if he became lightning himself. "Tell everyone to step back, let me have this." Then in a blink of an eye, Kai cuts off one Drakion's horns. "Hey, dragon do you know that lives were lost because of your stupid vendetta against a higher power you most likely will never beat. Didn't think so; ignorance is bliss isn't it?" Then Drakion blast Kai with fire who counters with a spear lightning piercing right through the upper area of Drakion's mouth. Then Drakion stomps on the ground creating a shockwave causing the ground to cave in as he flies off.

Risui throws some rubble off of himself as he says, "Can any of us fly?

Raiden bursts from a pile of rocks and growls, "You're a demon why don't you have wings."

"Are you assuming all demons have wings? And I am half-demon you jerk." Risui responds as he rolls his eyes.

"No, I am assuming all useful demons have wings, not that it applies to you anymore." Raiden claps back.

Azure stands at the end of crater staring off into space until she hears Kazumi yell, "What the heck happened while I was gone?"

"Why, why were we so powerless to stop him from causing this much destruction?" Kai thinks to himself. He turns to his team and says, "Guys, next time we see that dragon, let's kill him."

"Kai what are you saying. That is not our job." Reya questions Kai.

"I don't care! People lost lives because we weren't strong enough or fast enough!" He yells grotesquely.

Then Raiden steps in front of Reya and yells, "Kai calm down! There is no point taking your anger out on us."

Raiden's comment causes Kai to snap as red lightning erupts from his body as he roars, "You of all people talking about self-control! Where was that when we were in Isshin, huh!"

Raiden grabs the hilt of his sword causing Azure to point her guns at the two knights which in turn makes Reya create a rune where Azure was standing. "Both of you calm down, if you fight here you will be arrested," Azure says carefully.

"Now I'm a danger to the people isn't that ironic!" Kai yells at Azure.

"Um, guys let's just talk this out?" Risui says as he reaches to point Azure's guns down which causes her to shoot Risui sending him into a nearby building. Then Kazumi lunges on Azure who blocks it with her Destroyer canon. Kai and Raiden charge at each others swinging their swords and colliding.

"I've waited for this," Raiden growls as he tries to blast Kai with lightning but gets hit by a pink fire rune.

"Stop it! Control your selves !" Reya yells but gets ignored by Kai as he and Raiden continue parrying each other strikes.

Azure eventually kicks Kazumi off yelling, "Get off me you wild mutt!" But Kazumi keeps on slashing and kicking keeping Azure on the defensive. Then Risui shoots from the building catching Kazumi's wrist and Azure's cannon.

"If you don't stop, so Elria help me I will.." Risui gets interrupted by Chung who currently is dragging an unconscious Kai and Raiden.

"What the heck is going on here!?" Chung demands answer causing chills to shoot down Azure's spine
