Chapter 7

Danielle's p.o.v:

A few seconds after Alex just clashed her lips agains mine I stood there still trying to recover from what happened. I had two women in front of me that liked me and I didn't know what to do. I looked at Alex who was waiting for me to say something. Then I look at Lena who looked like she just had her heart ripped out of her chest. Lena's eyes started to water when she turned around and walked to her car without saying anything.

I watched her, wanting to run after her but couldn't because I was still shocked at everything that happened in only a couple of minutes.

Alex's p.o.v:

After I passionately kissed Danielle I took a step back breaking our kiss. She still had her eyes closed and her breathing was heavy now. She finally opened her eyes and didn't say nothing. She looked at Lena and Lena was angry I can see her eyes go from green to red of anger. Lena's eyes started to tear up when she turned around and walked away. Only to leave me and Danielle alone... but awkwardly. " so..." I said. "I... I don't know what to say Alex." She said with sadness in her eyes. " you don't have to... I understand now. You don't like me like that I get it." I said looking down at the floor. " no... it's not that. I just... I'm at a loss of words and I need time. I don't know what to say or think of this. And what about Kara? I want to make a good first impression I mean I only met her recently." She said with a sorry look on her face. " I understand Dani." I said with a smile. "Well I should get home. It's late and there's a lot I need to think about." She said before saying goodbye and walking to her car. I watched her get in her car and leave. Then I went home myself. I felt confident and happy.

Danielle's p.o.v:

I finally got home after a long day. I decided to just go to bed considering the tiring day I had. I had to wake up tomorrow and start my first day as C.E.O and try to find Lena and apologize to her. Rao... i knew tomorrow would be another long day and I needed a lot of rest.

Lena's p.o.v:

I went home after watching Alex stick her tongue down Danielle's throat. I admit I have feelings for the blue eyed girl but she didn't know that. Not that I knew at least. I can't blame her. It sucks even more now that I have a meeting with her cause of her team up with Catco that I just so happen to be the C.E.O of.

Danielle's p.o.v:

After about 9 hours of sleep I woke up at 7am getting ready for work. I had to face a bunch of employees I didn't know that are gonna be suck ups just to maybe get a promotion considering I'm new to the company. But little do they know I know their tricks. After my meeting at the office I had to go back to the D.E.O and work on some files and lab work I have there.

I drove to my company and walked in. I couldn't help but notice everyone staring and whispering things to each other. I was confused until I looked at the tv above the front desk that was switched to the news channel.

*breaking news- Danielle Stephens caught having heated make out session with unknown woman.*

I felt embarrassed as I walked as fast as I can to the elevator to get to my office. When I reached the door to my office I opened it and sat immediately at my desk chair and let my face fall into my hands. That was until I heard a soft voice say my name to get my attention.

" Danielle ..." she said softly as she entered my office standing opposite of the desk. I looked up and saw Lena standing there trying her best to hide her sadness. " Lena ... hi. I didn't think you'd-" she cut me off saying " I don't want to talk about it. I think we're better off as just friends for now. Why don't we get this meeting over with and get to the point" she said sternly. I looked down on my desk when she dropped a thick file on it. " this is the file for everything we need at Catco that your company should require for us on the deal."

After the meeting Lena got up and left without saying goodbye. I couldn't help but feel guilty for her hurting. I noticed what time it was and reminded myself I had to go to the D.E.O to finish some work up. So I left my office and drove to the headquarters.

When I got there I tried my best to avoid everyone that we're sending me glares as I walked in. The whole time I walked past everyone, I looked down at the floor. Until I saw someone step in front of me. " hey Dani" Alex said. I looked up at her and saw a smile on her face. I couldn't exactly match her smile considering the bad day I've already had. " hey... Alex" I said awkwardly trying not to look her in the eye. Before she can say anything else I walked towards my office and past everyone to break the awkwardness.

Alex's p.o.v:

After I aid 'hi' to her she looked embarrassed and immediately walked to her office after almost mumbling a 'hi' back. She didn't make any contact with me whatsoever. So I decided to follow her to her office to ask what was wrong. " is everything okay?" I asked worried about what she was going to say next. She sighed before replying. "yes. Everything is fine." I looked down at the floor knowing 'everything wasn't  fine'. " Danielle is this about what they're saying on the news?" When I asked her that I saw her facial expression switch quickly at the mention of what happened on the news. That was a huge trigger  for her. " jeez Alex big way to state the fucking Obvious" she said with anger. I felt guilty considering I was the one who kissed her. She sighed and sat at the edge of her desk playing with a pen in her hands. " I'm sorry... I didn't mean to snap at you like that. I just... this city ( national city) is so judgmental and I wanted to make a good impression before getting completely humiliated. Now everyone will remember this." She said with her head down.

I walked towards her and lifted her chin up holding it in place. " listen to me. Who cares what they think? In life we all get judgmental people whether we like it or not, and honestly I don't regret what happened yesterday." I said giving her a half smile. " I know me neither. Really Alex ... but what about Kara?" She said. I was going to say something when someone interrupted me from behind us by the door. " what about  Kara?" Kara said with a quizzed look on her face. I noticed I was still very close to Danielle with my hand holding up her chin still. I released my hand and took a few steps back. " well. Aren't you guys gonna tell me, what the hell was that video I saw on the news?" I knew Kara was going to find out sooner or later cause she always watched the news anytime she had the chance. Danielle spoke first noticing I was afraid to speak to Kara. " Kara we're sorry we were gonna tell you but then-" " I kissed her!" Alex said before I could finish. Kara stood there with her eyebrows knitted together, her jaw clenched and her arms crossed over her chest. She sighed noticing she can't keep us from having feelings. "look guys I understand you have feelings for each other but it's just weird okay... both of my sisters falling for one another. I'm sorry if I made you think you guys couldn't be together I just need some time to get used to it." She said and that's when I looked up excitedly. " really? You mean it's okay if me and Danielle start a relationship?" I asked. She nodded her head calmly. I looked over to Danielle only to find her looking even more devastated and with tears forming in her eyes. She looked like she just saw something that made her want to stab herself with kryptonite. " Danielle ? " me and Kara both said in unison noticing the look on the girls face. She looked like she wanted to kill someone. " what did you just say Kara? ... you said both sisters?" She said confused. " yea Alex is my sister and so are you. I mean you are a Zor-el right?" Kara asked with her now puzzled at Danielle's reaction to her calling her, her sister. " yes I am but I never associated with my father considering he left me with my mother and broke his promise never coming back for me like he said. I never told people my true last name was Zor-el cause I didn't give him the satisfaction of me having his last name after everything he put me and my mother through!" She said angrily before storming out of the office and going who knows where.
