Chapter 8

Danielle's P.O.V :

After storming out of the D.E.O I finally reached my car and got inside. My breath hitched when I finally calmed down and let the tears fall down my eyes. I rested my head on the steering wheel and sat there for a bit. After collecting my self together I turned on the car and drove to my office.

--- Later at the office ---

I finally arrived and got out the car. I walked into the building quickly and walked straight to the elevator as fast as I can trying to avoid contact with everyone. Once I got to my floor where the main office was I walked past my secretary outside. " hello, Ms. Stephens. There's someone waiting in your office." She said pointing towards my all glass framed office.

I looked to where she was pointing and saw a beautiful green eyed goddess sitting on my grey couch. I took a deep breath and walked into my office. " hello Ms. Luthor." I said trying to put a smile on my face preparing for my next lecture from her. But as she spoke she didn't sound like she was going to give me a lecture. " hey Danielle. I just wanted to stop by and talk." She said with a sad expression on her face.

" of course Lena. Anything for you." I said with a worried look on my face. " ok good well I wanted to start off with I'm sorry for earlier. I was acting harsh and I shouldn't have. It's just I got really hurt when Alex kissed you because I have huge feelings for you." She said mumbling the last part but loud enough so that I can hear.

I looked at her not knowing what to do. I was drawn by her kryptonite eyes. I sped walk to her, cupped her cheeks and crashed our lips together. It was a long passionate kiss. Probably the longest kiss I've ever had. Next thing I knew someone came barging in through the door. I jumped and saw Alex standing there with a hurt expression and her eyes getting glossy.

"Alex ..." before I can say anything she walked out quickly and left. I felt a wave of guilt come over me. I looked back at Lena and see her with a shocked expression on her face. She saw my staring and snapped out of her gaze. "Um that was..." I crooked a brow at her answer and saw her eyes wonder back to my lips. I smiled and she walked closer to me. " I have to go but I'll call you later." She said giving me a quick peck on the lips. She then too walked out but with confidence. I smiling to myself but then remembered how guilty I felt about Alex. I didn't want to hurt her but I don't think her and I will work.

I grabbed my keys and tried to look for Alex. I ended up at Kara's front door to her loft considering that was the last place she could be. I knocked and waited for a response. " what do you want!" Kara said from the other side of the door sounding angry. I knew she used her X-ray vision. That's how she knew it was me. " Kara, is Alex in there? I have to talk to her." I said hoping she would calm down. I heard the door unlock and open and I saw an angry looking Kara standing there with her arms crossed over her chest. " I'm sor--" before I could finish I felt a sharp pain on my cheek that made my face turn to the right. I looked at Kara and saw her with her hand raised. ' she just fucking hit me' I thought. I furrowed my eyebrows and felt my cheek get heated. " Alex doesn't want to talk to you and neither do I." She said attempting to close the door but I stopped her and quickly got inside her loft. I turned and faced her when she had an even more mad expression on her face. " Kara I understand you guys are both mad at me but please let me just talk to her." As Kara was about to say something we heard a deep voice. We both focused our attention towards the window Kara always left open for her to fly out of. When I saw who it was standing there I felt my fist ball up and anger raising in me.

" Hello girls" he said. I clenched my jaw and kept my eyes on his. " dad?" Kara said with tears forming in her eyes.
