After a long cold night the daybreak brought glimmers of warmth mix of cold golden light softly caressed the land and ignited the birds into a chorus of melodies.

The early morning sun was already well risen and the spring grass shone like it had its own gentle glow from within. The mountains from the balcony are silhouettes against a crimson sky and the air smells of the ocean. The air felt refrigerated, that same coolness deceptive; the sun has barely risen and the altitude is always cooler. It was late enough for bright light, it was early enough for the streets to be almost deserted - perfection. Apparently 6:22 am was the sweet-spot.

A tumultuous thoughts few hours of vivid disaster-fuelled dreaming, Zhao is more awake as he remain in the inkiness, willing himself to return to sleep, unpleasant though it is. But he cannot. He can lie still, becoming more irritated at his sleeplessness.

Zhao scoot himself upward and sat up, scooted back so he could lean on the headboard as dizziness made him lose his regeneration powers.

He know it's early morning because he can't hear the whir of the machines yet and because his heart is pounding right out of his chest.

When his mind takes him to a place so embattled that a bullet would feel like a mercy he feels lucky that he never stand alone, that he is so loved, yet often the medicine he need is retreat, solitude, to feel the beauty of mother earth and meditate on notions of spirituality. He guess that makes him a daydreamer, but if just daydreaming can heal his shattered mind then he reserve the right to do so.

He's been awake for like one hour but still didn't feel like starting his day. At the other side of the bed, Shen Wei his beloved man was still asleep, his back was turned from him. It was his second time waking up with him besides him, still there when most waking hours he got was being left alone.

To consume such an itty-bitty, half-pint quanity of alchohol... so much that Shen Wei's body decides without permission to shut down last night. It takes only one drink to get Shen drunk, resulting in a sleeping effect that is not real sleep because his brain has just shut off in fear of being damaged more than it already has.

An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his foolishness but Zhao admiring Shen Wei for being unique, reluctantly which causing his body to shut down before he can't controlled himself and damaged him even further which Zhao doesn't mind. It was his choice after all the commotion.

As Zhao was busy watching Shen Wei, the professor slowly carefully rolled onto his side and laying on his back. Zhao can see perfectly his features, that was much softer in sleep, the lines that usually creased his brow replaced by the youthful appearance that matched those of others their age. He looked peaceful, wanting nothing more than to curl up into the curve of his body. Zhao carefully pulled the blanket up over his chest.

Zhao was lost in his eyes, deeper and deeper until he was lost in his heart. The beat of Shen Wei's heart becomes Zhao surroundings and his own heart beat matches his by default. As Zhao think about his hair, his eyes, his body, he transcend into a beautiful world which contains all of the happy memories of him and Shen. He sink deeper into those thoughts and cherish how that makes him feel.

'God, I love this man', is what he murmuring to his head. Shen Wei's faults are his perfections, his words are Zhao's thoughts and Shen's heart is forever locked onto him.

Even without telling a soul it was common knowledge that Shen Wei and Zhao were lovers. It was in the way their gazes lingered on one another, the way their voices became softer and in the shy grins they'd never worn before. In casual conversation they stood that little bit closer than folks usually do, their body language so open and relaxed.
