Today was the wedding day of Zhao and Shen Wei in the open-air garden.

At the wedding venue.

The surrounding atmosphere was extremely lively, with many familiar guests arriving one after another. These guests were all close friends of Zhao Clan. They had spent many years establishing their foundations in the Dragon City crime investigation, allowing them to integrate fully.

The entire place was busy as every SIU was preparing for the wedding or tending to the guests. Greater demonic mounts soared through the air, and there were snow-white ice lion tribe, winged fairy tribes, raven gigantic hawks tribes, and more carrying the guests over.

The entire mission board of SIU folks was filled with missions for the wedding while all others had been removed. Making the wedding to be amazing and secured for their chief, and while the work could be tedious and boring, it paid a great deal of contribution effort.

The SIU colleagues though did not mind. Being able to share a contribution so easily was something they were all for, and they had a long life ahead of them. Spending a year grinding contribution for their Chief's special wedding day was in no way a waste.

Especially if they could make enough contribution now that it would last them a few years without them having to work or take missions when Zhao appreciate it later, then they would be able to truly benefit from the work.

Even those who were against the wedding, like Zhu Hong had nothing bad to say about it. Zhao had truly made it very beneficial for everyone. Only Guo ChangCheng felt worried about whether or not their Chief could afford to splurge such a large amount of resources for a single wedding.

They had forgotten that Shen Wei had given two amazing dowries, and even if he and Zhao managed to use up one of them, they would be incapable of using up both. Because the wealth that Zhao had gotten was simply out of this world and Shen Wei really did earn a lot.

Finally, Zhao had arrived at the wedding venue. He had to know what was going to happen in the wedding, and he was also excited about the fact that the ghost slayer would finally become his. Now that they were getting married, he no longer felt guilty about making himself wait so long.

It was high noon, and Zhao was looking dazzling in his white tuxedo.

Many guests were gathered at the outdoor wedding venue.

If this was an ordinary wedding, most of the guests would be gathered to celebrate the marriage between bride and groom, but the wedding of a same sex was different. Just like the court gathering, the wedding ceremony was a space where many interests intersected.

He made his way through the venue, followed by an entourage of friends. "Chief Zhao congratulations on your wedding." Guo ChangCheng said joyfully.

"Little Guo, why are you acting so polite with me? Hurry and go inside with everyone." Zhao said as Guo was in charge of receiving the guests. He shook his head with a smile. "I need to do the assigned work on me Chief Zhao, but you can rest assured about today's wedding. Brother Lin Jing have already made the appropriate arrangements."

"In that case, I will thank you for your concern. There are many things to do today…" Zhao once again gave thanks. He saw Guo ChangCheng nodding his head before leaving.

Zhao's gaze sent off Guo ChangCheng's back before the smile on his face was gradually withdrawn. His old eyes narrowed a faint cold glint flashed passed it.
