Several minutes later, upon entering inside the living hall, there was a corridor littered with various art pieces like paintings and exhibited on the faint yellow colored walls were all kinds of oil paintings, and other specimens of art, which were rather pleasing to the eyes.
As the living room came into view, it became quite obvious that it was a spacious house.
The decor in the room was extremely aesthetic. Although there were no dazzling golden or silver items or gems, these pieces had an aura of history and gave off a feeling of understated elegance.
It was at this moment that the two entourages sat on two opposite sides in the cozy caramel-coloured couch, with no particular conflicts between them.
Director Zhao looked at YunLan with a bit of surprise because the dark look on his son's face was so deep that he could almost see literal flames of fury bursting from his body.
He felt a tiny twinge of guilty conscience. Director Zhao sat quietly in the living hall opposite at YunLan as upright as a statue. His eyes were lowered and staring at the spot just one step away from his feet.
"Alright dad.. we are alone now. Speak then. If you aren't able to satisfy me, we'll take our leave." Zhao crossed his arms, looking at his father with a bleak face.
Director Zhao lowered his voice dramatically as he said, "YunLan, this is a matter of critical importance, I won't hid it, I brought you back here for two things. The first is you, my son and your so-planned out marriage, I heard from your mom, literally everything, so ...an old man like me couldn't help but come and ask."
YunLan's eyes flashed, silent and unresponsive as he listened to his father discuss both him and his plan for the future. He didn't mind this. He had known that the matter would eventually come to be known by others.
And knowing his father, who was a cautious person, but now that the matter of the marriage had been discovered by him, trying to conceal the truth would have been pointless. As of now, it made sense to be made aware of it too; at least then he would have a foundation of protection if his father yould approved it.
YunLan didn't respond at first. After some thought, he finally said, “This is a weighty matter, something I cannot make a decision on by myself but dad, there isn't a hurry for this. We're still both too young, let your young man make his own decisions." YunLan angrily retorted.
He lightly added with a glimmer of stubborness in his eyes, "My marriage shall be decided by myself."
"What marriage?" Director Zhao's expression shifted grimaced as well and said, "YunLan, this joke is going too far. It is too early to talk about marriage."
"Dad, it isn't early." YunLan gloated, only then did he speak in the low tone, "Dad, I know that I am wrong to want to marry the same gender, I indeed have a heart that loves too much, and it is my fault."
"In fact, as long as you agree to this marriage, I have confidence that not long in the future.."
"Anyone can make empty promises. Nonsense… nonsense..." Director Zhao looked at YunLan confident expression and couldn't help but be stunned slightly.
YunLan said in surprise, "What do you mean empty promises… dad, didn't you've been inform about the Saint Energy by..?"
YunLan wanted to say Med-Bowl, the one who possessed his dad's body during the war with Ye Zun before but he dare not says his name.
